என் கண்கள் இச்சித்தவைகளில் ஒன்றையும் நான் அவைகளுக்குத் தடைபண்ணவில்லை, என் இருதயத்துக்கு ஒரு சந்தோஷத்தையும் நான் வேண்டாமென்று விலக்கவில்லை; நான் செய்த முயற்சிகளிலெல்லாம் என் மனம் மகிழ்ச்சிகொண்டிருந்தது, இதுவே என் பிரயாசங்கள் எல்லாவற்றினாலும் எனக்கு வந்த பலன்.

என்னுடைய கண்கள் விரும்பிய ஒன்றையும் நான் அவைகளுக்குத் தடை செய்யவில்லை; என்னுடைய இருதயத்திற்கு ஒரு சந்தோஷத்தையும் நான் வேண்டாமென்று விலக்கவில்லை; நான் செய்த முயற்சிகளிலெல்லாம் என்னுடைய மனம் மகிழ்ச்சிகொண்டிருந்தது; இதுவே என்னுடைய பிரயாசங்கள் எல்லாவற்றினாலும் எனக்கு வந்த பலன்.

என் கண்கள் விரும்பின அனைத்தையும் அவற்றிற்கு அளித்தேன். எந்த மகிழ்ச்சியையும் என் மனத்திற்குக் கொடுக்க நான் தவறவில்லை. என் முயற்சி அனைத்தும் என் உள்ளத்திற்கு மகிழ்ச்சியூட்டியது. இதுவே என் முயற்சிகளுக்கெல்லாம் கிடைத்த பலனாகும்.

En kannkal ichchiththavaikalil ontaiyum naan avaikalukkuth thataipannnavillai, en iruthayaththukku oru santhoshaththaiyum naan vaenndaamentu vilakkavillai; naan seytha muyarsikalilellaam en manam makilchchikonntirunthathu, ithuvae en pirayaasangal ellaavattinaalum enakku vantha palan.
