இப்படியிருக்கிறபடியால், மனுஷன் தன் செய்கைகளில் மகிழ்ச்சியாயிருக்கும் நன்மையையேயல்லாமல், வேறே நன்மையில்லையென்று கண்டேன்; இதுவே அவன் பங்கு; தனக்குப் பின்வரும் காரியங்களைக் காணும்படிக்கு அவனைத் திரும்பிவரப்பண்ணுகிறவன் யார்?

இப்படியிருக்கிறபடியால், மனிதன் தன்னுடைய செயல்களில் மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருக்கும் நன்மையைத்தவிர, வேறே நன்மை இல்லையென்று கண்டேன்; இதுவே அவனுடைய பங்கு; தனக்குப் பின்வரும் காரியங்களைக் காணும்படி அவனைத் திரும்பிவரச்செய்கிறவன் யார்?

எனவே, ஒருவன் செய்யவேண்டிய நற் செயல் என்னவென்றால் தனது செய்கையில் மகிழ்வதுதான் என்று நான் கண்டுகொண்டேன். அதையே அவன் அடைந்திருக்கிறான். ஒருவன் எதிர்காலத்தைப்பற்றி கவலைப்படக் கூடாது. ஏனென்றால் அவனுக்கு எதிர்காலத்தில் என்ன நடக்கும் என்பதைக் கண்டு சொல்ல யாராலும் முடியாது.
