அப்போஸ்தலர் 27:10
மனுஷரே, இந்த யாத்திரையினாலே சரக்குக்கும் கப்பலுக்கும் மாத்திரமல்ல, நம்முடைய ஜீவனுக்கும் வருத்தமும் மிகுந்த சேதமும் உண்டாயிருக்குமென்று காண்கிறேன் என்று சொல்லி, அவர்களை எச்சரித்தான்.

மனிதர்களே, இந்த பயணத்தினாலே பொருட்களுக்கும், கப்பலுக்கும் மாத்திரமல்ல, நம்முடைய உயிருக்கும் வருத்தமும், மிகுந்த சேதமும் உண்டாயிருக்குமென்று காண்கிறேன் என்று சொல்லி அவர்களை எச்சரித்தான்.

“மனிதரே இப்பயணத்தில் இன்னும் தொல்லைகள் மிகுதியாக இருக்கும் என்று எண்ணுகிறேன்” என்று அவர்களை எச்சரித்தான். “கப்பலும், கப்பலின் பொருள்களும் இழக்கப்படலாம். நம் உயிரையும் நாம் இழக்கக்கூடும்!” என்றான்.
