தைலக்குப்பியை எடுத்து, அவன் தலையின்மேல் வார்த்து: உன்னை இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் ராஜாவாக அபிஷேகம்பண்ணினேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்று சொல்லி, கதவைத் திறந்து தாமதியாமல் ஓடிப்போ என்றான்.

இந்த சிறிய எண்ணெய்க் குப்பியை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு எண்ணெயை அவன் தலையில் ஊற்றி, ‘இது கர்த்தர் சொன்னது: உன்னை இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு அரசன் ஆக்குகிறேன்’ என்று சொல். பிறகு கதவைத் திறந்துக்கொண்டு ஓடிவந்துவிடு. அங்கே தங்காதே” என்றான்.

அங்கே இந்த எண்ணெய்க் கிண்ணத்தை எடுத்து அவனை நோக்கி, ‘ஆண்டவர் கூறுவது இதுவே: உன்னை நான் இஸ்ரயேலின் அரசனாகத் திருப்பொழிவு செய்கிறேன்’ என்று சொல்லி, அவன் மேல் எண்ணெய் வார்ப்பாய். அங்கே நில்லாது கதவைத் திறந்துகொண்டு ஓடிவந்துவிடு” என்றார்.⒫
