உனக்கும் உனக்குப் பின்வரும் உன் சந்ததிக்கும் நான் தேவனாயிருக்கும்படி எனக்கும் உனக்கும், உனக்குப்பின் தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக வரும் உன் சந்ததிக்கும் நடுவே, என் உடன்படிக்கையை நித்திய உடன்படிக்கையாக ஸ்தாபிப்பேன்.
And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
பின்னும் தேவன் ஆபிரகாமை நோக்கி: இப்பொழுது நீயும், உனக்குப் பின் தலைமுறை தலைΠρறையாக வரும் உன் சந்ததியும், என் உடன்படிக்கையைக் கைக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.
And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.
உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரில் நீ உன் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் உன் முழு ஆத்துமாவோடும் அன்புகூர்ந்து பிழைக்கும்படி, உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன் இருதயத்தையும் உன் சந்ததியாரின் இருதயத்தையும் விருத்தசேதனம்பண்ணி,
And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
தாகமுள்ளவன்மேல் தண்ணீரையும், வறண்ட நிலத்தின்மேல் ஆறுகளையும் ஊற்றுவேன்; உன் சந்ததியின்மேல் என் ஆவியையும், உன் சந்தானத்தின்மேல் என் ஆசீர்வாதத்தையும் ஊற்றுவேன்.
For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:
ஒருவன், நான் கர்த்தருடையவன் என்பான்; ஒருவன் யாக்கோபின்பேரைத் தரித்துக்கொள்வான்; ஒருவன், தான் கர்த்தருடையவன் என்று கையெழுத்துப்போட்டு, இஸ்ரவேலின் நாமத்தைத் தரித்துக்கொள்வான்.
One shall say, I am the LORD's; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.
உன் பிள்ளைகளெல்லாரும் கர்த்தரால் போதிக்கப்பட்டிருப்பார்கள்; உன் பிள்ளைகளுடைய சமாதானம் பெரிதாயிருக்கும்.
And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
இயேசு அதைக்கண்டு விசனமடைந்து: சிறு பிள்ளைகள் என்னிடத்தில் வருகிறதற்கு இடங்கொடுங்கள்; அவர்களைத் தடைபண்ணாதிருங்கள்; தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யம் அப்படிப்பட்டவர்களுடையது.
But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
அவர்களை அணைத்துக்கொண்டு, அவர்கள்மேல் கைகளை வைத்து, அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதித்தார்.
And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.
வாக்குத்தத்தமானது உங்களுக்கும், உங்கள் பிள்ளைகளுக்கும், நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் வரவழைக்கும் தூரத்திலுள்ள யாவருக்கும் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது என்று சொல்லி;
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.
அதற்கு அவர்கள்: கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவை விசுவாசி, அப்பொழுது நீயும் உன் வீட்டாரும் இரட்சிக்கப்படுவீர்கள் என்று சொல்லி,
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
என்னத்தினாலெனில், அவிசுவாசியான புருஷன் தன் மனைவியால் பரிசுத்தமாக்கப்படுகிறான்; அவிசுவாசியான மனைவியும் தன் புருஷனால் பரிசுத்தமாக்கப்படுகிறாள். இல்லாவிட்டால் உங்கள் பிள்ளைகள் அசுத்தமாயிருக்குமே; இப்பொழுதோ அவைகள் பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கின்றன.
For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.
