Psalm 55:1-23
தேவனே, என் ஜெபத்தைக் கேட்டருளும்; என் விண்ணப்பத்திற்கு மறைந்திராதேயும்.
Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication.
எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, உத்தரவு அருளிச்செய்யும் சத்துருவினுடைய கூக்குரலினிமித்தமும், துன்மார்க்கர் செய்யும் இடுக்கத்தினிமித்தமும் என் தியானத்தில் முறையிடுகிறேன்.
Attend unto me, and hear me: I mourn in my complaint, and make a noise;
அவர்கள் என்மேல் பழிசாட்டி, குரோதங்கொண்டு, என்னைப் பகைக்கிறார்கள்.
Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me.
என் இருதயம் எனக்குள் வியாகுலப்படுகிறது; மரணத்திகில் என்மேல் விழுந்தது.
My heart is sore pained within me: and the terrors of death are fallen upon me.
பயமும் நடுக்கமும் என்னைப் பிடித்தது; அருக்களிப்பு என்னை மூடிற்று.
Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, and horror hath overwhelmed me.
அப்பொழுது நான்: ஆ, எனக்குப் புறாவைப்போல் சிறகுகள் இருந்தால், நான் பறந்துபோய் இளைப்பாறுவேன்.
And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest.
நான் தூரத்தில் அலைந்து திரிந்து வனாந்தரத்தில் தங்கியிருப்பேன். (சேலா.)
Lo, then would I wander far off, and remain in the wilderness. Selah.
பெருங்காற்றுக்கும் புசலுக்கும் தப்பத் தீவிரித்துக்கொள்ளுவேன் என்றேன்.
I would hasten my escape from the windy storm and tempest.
ஆண்டவரே, அவர்களை அழித்து, அவர்கள் பாஷையைப் பிரிந்துபோகப்பண்ணும்; கொடுமையையும் சண்டையையும் நகரத்திலே கண்டேன்;
Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongues: for I have seen violence and strife in the city.
அவைகள் இரவும் பகலும் அதின் மதில்கள்மேல் சுற்றித்திரிகிறது; அக்கிரமமும் வாதையும் அதின் நடுவில் இருக்கிறது;
Day and night they go about it upon the walls thereof: mischief also and sorrow are in the midst of it.
கேடுபாடுகள் அதின் நடுவிலிருக்கிறது; கொடுமையும் கபடும் அதின் வீதியை விட்டு விலகிப்போகிறதில்லை.
Wickedness is in the midst thereof: deceit and guile depart not from her streets.
என்னை நிந்தித்தவன் சத்துரு அல்ல, அப்படியிருந்தால் சகிப்பேன்; எனக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பெருமைபாராட்டினவன் என் பகைஞன் அல்ல, அப்படியிருந்தால் அவனுக்கு மறைந்திருப்பேன்.
For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him:
எனக்குச் சமமான மனுஷனும், என் வழிகாட்டியும், என் தோழனுமாகிய நீயே அவன்.
But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance.
நாம் ஒருமித்து, இன்பமான ஆலோசனைபண்ணி, கூட்டத்தோடே தேவாலயத்துக்குப் போனோம்.
We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company.
மரணம் அவர்களைத் தொடர்ந்து பிடிப்பதாக; அவர்கள் உயிரோடே பாதாளத்தில் இறங்குவார்களாக; அவர்கள் வாசஸ்தலங்களிலும் அவர்கள் உள்ளத்திலும் பொல்லாங்கு இருக்கிறது.
Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them.
நானோ தேவனை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுவேன்; கர்த்தர் என்னை இரட்சிப்பார்.
As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me.
அந்திசந்தி மத்தியான வேளைகளிலும் நான் தியானம்பண்ணி முறையிடுவேன்; அவர் என் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்பார்.
Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
திரளான கூட்டமாய்க் கூடி என்னோடு எதிர்த்தார்கள்; அவரே எனக்கு நேரிட்ட போரை நீக்கி, என் ஆத்துமாவைச் சமாதானத்துடன் மீட்டுவிட்டார்.
He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.
ஆதிமுதலாய் வீற்றிருக்கிற தேவன் கேட்டு, அவர்களுக்குப் பதிலளிப்பார்; அவர்களுக்கு மாறுதல்கள் நேரிடாததினால், அவர்கள் தேவனுக்குப் பயப்படாமற்போகிறார்கள். (சேலா.)
God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.
அவன் தன்னோடே சமாதானமாயிருந்தவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாய் தன் கையை நீட்டி, தன் உடன்படிக்கையை மீறி நடந்தான்.
He hath put forth his hands against such as be at peace with him: he hath broken his covenant.
அவன் வாயின் சொற்கள் வெண்ணெயைப்போல மெதுவானவைகள், அவன் இருதயமோ யுத்தம்; அவன் வார்த்தைகள் எண்ணெயிலும் மிருதுவானவைகள், ஆனாலும் அவைகள் உருவின பட்டயங்கள்.
The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.
கர்த்தர்மேல் உன் பாரத்தைவைத்துவிடு, அவர் உன்னை ஆதரிப்பார்; நீதிமானை ஒருபோதும் தள்ளாடவொட்டார்.
Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
தேவனே, நீர் அவர்களை அழிவின் குழியில் இறங்கப்பண்ணுவீர்; இரத்தப்பிரியரும் சூதுள்ள மனுஷரும் தங்கள் ஆயுளின் நாட்களில் பாதிவரையிலாகிலும் பிழைத்திருக்கமாட்டார்கள்; நானோ உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிறேன்.
But thou, O God, shalt bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in thee.
