Psalm 108 in Tamil

1 தேவனே, என் இருதயம் ஆயத்தமாயிருக்கிறது; நான் பாடிக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுவேன், என் மகிமையும் பாடும். O god, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.

2 வீணையே, சுரமண்டலமே, விழியுங்கள்; நான் அதிகாலையில் விழிப்பேன். Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.

3 கர்த்தாவே, ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளே உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன்; ஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே உம்மைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுவேன். I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.

4 உமது கிருபை வானங்களுக்குமேலாகவும் உமது சத்தியம் மேகமண்டலங்கள் பரியந்தமும் எட்டுகிறது. For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.

5 தேவனே, வானங்களுக்கு மேலாக உயர்ந்திரும்; உமது மகிமை பூமியனைத்தின்மேலும் உயர்ந்திருப்பதாக, Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;

6 உமது பிரியர் விடுவிக்கப்படும் பொருட்டு, உமது வலதுகரத்தினால் இரட்சித்து, எங்கள் ஜெபத்தைக்கேட்டருளும். That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.

7 தேவன் தமது பரிசுத்தத்தைக்கொண்டு விளம்பினார், ஆகையால் களிகூருவேன்; சீகேமைப் பங்கிட்டு, சுக்கோத்தின் பள்ளத்தாக்கை அளந்துகொள்ளுவேன். God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

8 கீலேயாத் என்னுடையது, மனாசேயும் என்னுடையது; எப்பிராயீம் என் தலையின் பெலன், யூதா என் நியாயப்பிரமாணிகன். Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;

9 மோவாப் என் பாதபாத்திரம்; ஏதோமின்மேல் என் பாதரட்சையை எறிவேன்; பெலிஸ்தியாவின் மேல் ஆர்ப்பரிப்பேன். Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.

10 அரணான பட்டணத்திற்கு என்னை நடத்திக்கொண்டு போகிறவன் யார்? ஏதோம்மட்டும் எனக்கு வழிகாட்டுகிறவன் யார்? Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

11 எங்கள் சேனைகளோடே புறப்படாமலிருந்த தேவரீரல்லவா? எங்களைத் தள்ளிவிட்டிருந்த தேவரீரல்லவா? Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?

12 இக்கட்டில் எங்களுக்கு உதவிசெய்யும்; மனுஷனுடைய உதவி விருதா? Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

13 தேவனாலே பராக்கிரமஞ்செய்வோம்; அவரே எங்கள் சத்துருக்களை மிதித்துப்போடுவார். Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

1 Thaevanae, en iruthayam aayaththamaayirukkirathu; naan paatik geerththanampannnuvaen, en makimaiyum paadum. O god, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.

2 Veennaiyae, suramanndalamae, viliyungal; naan athikaalaiyil vilippaen. Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.

3 Karththaavae, janangalukkullae ummaith thuthippaen; jaathikalukkullae ummaik geerththanampannnuvaen. I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.

4 Umathu kirupai vaanangalukkumaelaakavum umathu saththiyam maekamanndalangal pariyanthamum ettukirathu. For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.

5 Thaevanae, vaanangalukku maelaaka uyarnthirum; umathu makimai poomiyanaiththinmaelum uyarnthiruppathaaka, Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;

6 Umathu piriyar viduvikkappadum poruttu, umathu valathukaraththinaal iratchiththu, engal jepaththaikkaettarulum. That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.

7 Dhevan thamathu Parisuththaththaikkonndu vilampinaar, aakaiyaal kalikooruvaen; seekaemaip pangittu, sukkoththin pallaththaakkai alanthukolluvaen. God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

8 Geelaeyaath ennutaiyathu, manaaseyum ennutaiyathu; eppiraayeem en thalaiyin pelan, yoothaa en niyaayappiramaannikan. Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;

9 Movaap en paathapaaththiram; aethominmael en paatharatchaைyai erivaen; pelisthiyaavin mael aarpparippaen. Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.

10 Arannaana pattanaththirku ennai nadaththikkonndu pokiravan yaar? Aethommattum enakku valikaattukiravan yaar? Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

11 Engal senaikalotae purappadaamaliruntha thaevareerallavaa? Engalaith thallivittiruntha thaevareerallavaa? Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?

12 Ikkattil engalukku uthaviseyyum; manushanutaiya uthavi viruthaa? Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

13 Thaevanaalae paraakkiramanjaெyvom; avarae engal saththurukkalai mithiththuppoduvaar. Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
