அதினால் ஜனங்கள் மோசேயினிடத்தில் போய்: நாங்கள் கர்த்தருக்கும் உமக்கும் விரோதமாய்ப் பேசினதினால் பாவஞ்செய்தோம்; சர்ப்பங்கள் எங்களைவிட்டு நீங்கும்படி கர்த்தரை நோக்கி விண்ணப்பம் பண்ணவேண்டும் என்றார்கள்; மோசே ஜனங்களுக்காக விண்ணப்பம் பண்ணினான்.
