தேசத்தின் ஜனங்கள் ஓய்வுநாளிலே சரக்குகளையும், எந்தவிதத் தானியதவசத்தையும் விற்கிறதற்குக் கொண்டுவந்தால், நாங்கள் அதை ஓய்வுநாளிலும் பரிசுத்தநாளிலும் அவர்கள் கையில் கொள்ளாதிருப்போம் என்றும், நாங்கள் ஏழாம் வருஷத்தை விடுதலை வருஷமாக்கிச் சகல கடன்களையும் விட்டுவிடுவோம் என்றும் ஆணையிட்டுப் பிரமாணம்பண்ணினார்கள்.

“நாங்கள் ஓய்வு நாளில் வேலைச் செய்யமாட்டோம். எங்களைச் சுற்றியிருப்பவர்கள் அந்நாளில் தானியங்களையோ மற்ற பொருட்களையோ கொண்டுவந்து விற்றால் நாங்கள் அவற்றை அச்சிறப்பான நாளிலும் மற்ற ஓய்வு நாட்களிலும் வாங்கமாட்டோம். ஒவ்வொரு ஏழாவது ஆண்டிலும், நாங்கள் எங்கள் பூமியில் நாத்து நடுதல் அல்லது வேறு வேலைகளைச் செய்யமாட்டோம். ஒவ்வொரு ஏழாவது ஆண்டிலும், மற்றவர்கள் எங்களுக்குத் தர வேண்டிய கடன்களைத் தள்ளுபடி செய்வோம்.
