ஆதலால் இதோ, என் கோபமும் என் உக்கிரமும் இந்த ஸ்தலத்தின்மேலும், மனுஷர்மேலும், மிருகங்கள்மேலும், வெளியின் மரங்கள்மேலும், பூமியின் கனிகள்மேலும் ஊற்றப்படும்; அது அவியாமல் எரியும் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

எனவே கர்த்தர் அவர்களிடம், “நான் இந்த இடத்துக்கு எதிராக எனது கோபத்தைக் காட்டுவேன். நான் ஜனங்களையும் மிருகங்களையும் தண்டிப்பேன். நான் வெளியிலுள்ள மரங்களையும் தரையிலுள்ள விளைச்சலையும் தண்டிப்பேன். எனது கோபம் சூடான நெருப்பைப் போன்றிருக்கும். எவராலும் அதனைத் தடுக்கமுடியாது” என்று கூறுகிறார்.
