Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:

word, בַּדָּבָ֣ר dābār da-VAHR

and trust וַֽתִּבְטְחוּ֙ bāṭaḥ ba-TAHK
in oppression בְּעֹ֣שֶׁק ʿōšeq oh-SHEK
and perverseness, וְנָל֔וֹז lûz looz
