எகிப்தியர் சகாயம்பண்ணுவது வியர்த்தமும் வீணுமாம்; ஆகையால், சும்மாயிருப்பதே அவர்களுக்குப் பெலன் என்று அதற்காகக் கூறுகிறேன்.

Ekipthiyar sakaayampannnuvathu viyarththamum veenumaam; aakaiyaal, summaayiruppathae avarkalukkup pelan entu atharkaakak kooraுkiraேn.

எகிப்தியர் சகாயம்பண்ணுவது வியர்த்தமும் வீணுமாம்; ஆகையால், சும்மாயிருப்பதே அவர்களுக்குப் பெலன் என்று அதற்காகக் கூறுகிறேன்.

For the Egyptians shall help in vain, and to no purpose: therefore have I cried concerning this, Their strength is to sit still.

For the Egyptians וּמִצְרַ֕יִם miṣrayim meets-ra-YEEM
in vain, הֶ֥בֶל hebel heh-VEL
and to no purpose: וָרִ֖יק rîq reek
shall help יַעְזֹ֑רוּ ʿāzar ah-ZAHR
therefore לָכֵן֙ kēn kane
have I cried קָרָ֣אתִי qārāʾ ka-RA
concerning this, לָזֹ֔את zōt zote
strength רַ֥הַב rahab ra-HAHV
Their הֵ֖ם hēm hame
to sit still. שָֽׁבֶת׃ šebet sheh-VET
