Leviticus 18 in Tamil

1 பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2 நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குச் சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the LORD your God.

3 நீங்கள் குடியிருந்த எகிப்துதேசத்தாருடைய செய்கையின்படி செய்யாமலும், நான் உங்களை அழைத்துப்போகிற கானான் தேசத்தாருடைய செய்கையின்படி செய்யாமலும், அவர்களுடைய முறைமைகளின்படி நடவாமலும், After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.

4 என்னுடைய நியாயங்களின்படி செய்து, என்னுடைய கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு நடவுங்கள்; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the LORD your God.

5 ஆகையால் என் கட்டளைகளையும் நியாயங்களையும் கைக்கொள்ளக்கடவீர்கள்; அவைகளின்படி செய்கிறவன் எவனும் அவைகளால் பிழைப்பான்; நான் கர்த்தர். Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD.

6 ஒருவனும் தனக்கு நெருங்கின இனமாகிய ஒருத்தியை நிர்வாணமாக்கும்படி அவளைச் சேரலாகாது; நான் கர்த்தர். None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the LORD.

7 உன் தகப்பனையாவது உன் தாயையாவது நிர்வாணமாக்கலாகாது; அவள் உன் தாயானவள்; அவளை நிர்வாணமாக்கலாகாது. The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

8 உன் தகப்பனுடைய மனைவியை நிர்வாணமாக்கலாகாது; அது உன் தகப்பனுடைய நிர்வாணம். The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness.

9 உன் தகப்பனுக்காவது உன் தாய்க்காவது வீட்டிலாகிலும் புறத்திலாகிலும் பிறந்த குமாரத்தியாகிய உன் சகோதரியை நிர்வாணமாக்கலாகாது. The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.

10 உன் குமாரனுடைய மகளையாவது உன் குமாரத்தியினுடைய மகளையாவது நிர்வாணமாக்கலாகாது அது உன்னுடைய நிர்வாணம். The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness.

11 உன் தகப்பனுடைய மனைவியினிடத்தில் உன் தகப்பனுக்குப் பிறந்த குமாரத்தியை நிர்வாணமாக்கலாகாது; அவள் உனக்குச் சகோதரி. The nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

12 உன் தகப்பனுடைய சகோதரியை நிர்வாணமாக்கலாகாது; அவள் உன் தகப்பனுக்கு நெருங்கின இனமானவள். Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister: she is thy father's near kinswoman.

13 உன் தாயினுடைய சகோதரியை நிர்வாணமாக்கலாகாது; அவள் உன் தாய்க்கு நெருங்கின இனமானவள். Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister: for she is thy mother's near kinswoman.

14 உன் தகப்பனுடைய சகோதரனை நிர்வாணமாக்கலாகாது; அவன் மனைவியைச் சேராயாக; அவள் உன் தகப்பனுடைய சகோதரி. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she is thine aunt.

15 உன் மருமகளை நிர்வாணமாக்கலாகாது; அவள் உன் குமாரனுக்கு மனைவி, அவளை நிர்வாணமாக்கலாகாது. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter in law: she is thy son's wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

16 உன் சகோதரனுடைய மனைவியை நிர்வாணமாக்கலாகாது; அது உன் சகோதரனுடைய நிர்வாணம். Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother's wife: it is thy brother's nakedness.

17 ஒரு ஸ்திரீயையும் அவள் மகளையும் நிர்வாணமாக்கலாகாது; அவளுடைய குமாரரின் மகளையும் அவளுடைய குமாரத்தியின் மகளையும் நிர்வாணமாக்கும்படி விவாகம்பண்ணலாகாது; இவர்கள் அவளுக்கு நெருங்கின இனமானவர்கள்; அது முறைகேடு. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shalt thou take her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen: it is wickedness.

18 உன் மனைவி உயிரோடிருக்கையில், அவளுக்கு உபத்திரவமாக அவள் சகோதரியையும் நிர்வாணமாக்கும்பொருட்டு அவளை விவாகம்பண்ணலாகாது. Neither shalt thou take a wife to her sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life time.

19 ஸ்திரீயானவள் சூதகத்தால் விலக்கத்திலிருக்கையில், அவளை நிர்வாணமாக்க அவளோடே சேராதே. Also thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness.

20 பிறனுடைய மனைவியோடே சேரும்படி சயனித்து, அவளால் உன்னைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளவேண்டாம். Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbor's wife, to defile thyself with her.

21 நீ உன் சந்ததியில் யாரையாகிலும் மோளேகுக்கென்று தீக்கடக்கும்படி இடங்கொடாதே; உன் தேவனுடைய நாமத்தைப் பரிசுத்தக் குலைச்சலாக்காதே; நான் கர்த்தர். And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.

22 பெண்ணோடு சம்யோகம் பண்ணுகிறதுபோல ஆணோடே சம்யோகம் பண்ணவேண்டாம்; அது அருவருப்பானது. Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

23 யாதொரு மிருகத்தோடும் நீ புணர்ச்சி செய்து, அதினாலே உன்னைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தவேண்டாம்; ஸ்திரீயானவள் மிருகத்தோடே புணரும்படி அதற்கு முன்பாக நிற்கலாகாது; அது அருவருப்பான தாறுமாறு. Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.

24 இவைகளில் ஒன்றினாலும் உங்களைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தாதிருங்கள்; நான் உங்கள் முன்னின்று துரத்திவிடுகிற ஜாதிகள் இவைகளெல்லாவற்றினாலும் தங்களைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தியிருக்கிறார்கள்; தேசமும் தீட்டுப்படுத்தப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:

25 ஆகையால் அதின் அக்கிரமத்தை விசாரிப்பேன்; தேசம் தன் குடிகளைக் கக்கிப்போடும். And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.

26 இந்த அருவருப்புகளையெல்லாம் உங்களுக்குமுன் இருந்த அந்தத் தேசத்தின் மனிதர் செய்ததினாலே தேசம் தீட்டாயிற்று. Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:

27 இப்பொழுது உங்களுக்கு முன் இருந்த ஜாதிகளைத் தேசம் கக்கிப்போட்டதுபோல, நீங்கள் அதைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தும்போது அது உங்களையும் கக்கிப்போடாதபடிக்கு, (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)

28 நீங்கள் என் கட்டளைகளையும் என் நியாயங்களையும் கைக்கொண்டு, தேசத்திலே பிறந்தவனானாலும் உங்கள் நடுவே தங்குகிற அந்நியனானாலும் இந்த அருவருப்புக்களில் ஒன்றையும் செய்யவேண்டாம். That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you.

29 இப்படிப்பட்ட அருவருப்பானவைகளில் யாதொன்றை யாராவது செய்தால், செய்த அந்த ஆத்துமாக்கள் ஜனத்தில் இராதபடிக்கு அறுப்புண்டுபோவார்கள். For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.

30 ஆகையால் உங்களுக்குமுன் செய்யப்பட்ட அருவருப்பான முறைமைகளில் யாதொன்றை நீங்கள் செய்து, அவைகளால் உங்களைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளாதபடிக்கு என் கட்டளையைக் கைக்கொள்ளுங்கள்; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்று சொல் என்றார். Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the LORD your God.

1 Pinnum Karththar Mosesyai Nnokki: And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Nee Israel puththirarukkuch sollavaenntiyathu ennavental: naan ungal thaevanaakiya Karththar. Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the LORD your God.

3 Neengal kutiyiruntha ekipthuthaesaththaarutaiya seykaiyinpati seyyaamalum, naan ungalai alaiththuppokira kaanaan thaesaththaarutaiya seykaiyinpati seyyaamalum, avarkalutaiya muraimaikalinpati nadavaamalum, After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.

4 Ennutaiya niyaayangalinpati seythu, ennutaiya kattalaikalaik kaikkonndu nadavungal; naan ungal thaevanaakiya Karththar. Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the LORD your God.

5 Aakaiyaal en kattalaikalaiyum niyaayangalaiyum kaikkollakkadaveerkal; avaikalinpati seykiravan evanum avaikalaal pilaippaan; naan Karththar. Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD.

6 Oruvanum thanakku nerungina inamaakiya oruththiyai nirvaanamaakkumpati avalaich seralaakaathu; naan Karththar. None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the LORD.

7 Un thakappanaiyaavathu un thaayaiyaavathu nirvaanamaakkalaakaathu; aval un thaayaanaval; avalai nirvaanamaakkalaakaathu. The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

8 Un thakappanutaiya manaiviyai nirvaanamaakkalaakaathu; athu un thakappanutaiya nirvaanam. The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness.

9 Un thakappanukkaavathu un thaaykkaavathu veettilaakilum puraththilaakilum pirantha kumaaraththiyaakiya un sakothariyai nirvaanamaakkalaakaathu. The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.

10 Un kumaaranutaiya makalaiyaavathu un kumaaraththiyinutaiya makalaiyaavathu nirvaanamaakkalaakaathu athu unnutaiya nirvaanam. The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness.

11 Un thakappanutaiya manaiviyinidaththil un thakappanukkup pirantha kumaaraththiyai nirvaanamaakkalaakaathu; aval unakkuch sakothari. The nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

12 Un thakappanutaiya sakothariyai nirvaanamaakkalaakaathu; aval un thakappanukku nerungina inamaanaval. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister: she is thy father's near kinswoman.

13 Un thaayinutaiya sakothariyai nirvaanamaakkalaakaathu; aval un thaaykku nerungina inamaanaval. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister: for she is thy mother's near kinswoman.

14 Un thakappanutaiya sakotharanai nirvaanamaakkalaakaathu; avan manaiviyaich seraayaaka; aval un thakappanutaiya sakothari. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she is thine aunt.

15 Un marumakalai nirvaanamaakkalaakaathu; aval un kumaaranukku manaivi, avalai nirvaanamaakkalaakaathu. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter in law: she is thy son's wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

16 Un sakotharanutaiya manaiviyai nirvaanamaakkalaakaathu; athu un sakotharanutaiya nirvaanam. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother's wife: it is thy brother's nakedness.

17 Oru sthireeyaiyum aval makalaiyum nirvaanamaakkalaakaathu; avalutaiya kumaararin makalaiyum avalutaiya kumaaraththiyin makalaiyum nirvaanamaakkumpati vivaakampannnalaakaathu; ivarkal avalukku nerungina inamaanavarkal; athu muraikaedu. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shalt thou take her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen: it is wickedness.

18 Un manaivi uyirotirukkaiyil, avalukku upaththiravamaaka aval sakothariyaiyum nirvaanamaakkumporuttu avalai vivaakampannnalaakaathu. Neither shalt thou take a wife to her sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life time.

19 Sthireeyaanaval soothakaththaal vilakkaththilirukkaiyil, avalai nirvaanamaakka avalotae seraathae. Also thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness.

20 Piranutaiya manaiviyotae serumpati sayaniththu, avalaal unnaith theettuppaduththikkollavaenndaam. Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbor's wife, to defile thyself with her.

21 Nee un santhathiyil yaaraiyaakilum molaekukkentu theekkadakkumpati idangaொdaathae; un thaevanutaiya naamaththaip Parisuththak kulaichchalaakkaathae; naan Karththar. And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.

22 Pennnnodu samyokam pannnukirathupola aannotae samyokam pannnavaenndaam; athu aruvaruppaanathu. Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

23 Yaathoru mirukaththodum nee punarchchi seythu, athinaalae unnaith theettuppaduththavaenndaam; sthireeyaanaval mirukaththotae punarumpati atharku munpaaka nirkalaakaathu; athu aruvaruppaana thaaraுmaaraு. Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.

24 Ivaikalil ontinaalum ungalaith theettuppaduththaathirungal; naan ungal munnintu thuraththividukira jaathikal ivaikalellaavattinaalum thangalaith theettuppaduththiyirukkiraarkal; thaesamum theettuppaduththappattirukkirathu. Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:

25 Aakaiyaal athin akkiramaththai visaarippaen; thaesam than kutikalaik kakkippodum. And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.

26 Intha aruvaruppukalaiyellaam ungalukkumun iruntha anthath thaesaththin manithar seythathinaalae thaesam theettayittaு. Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:

27 Ippoluthu ungalukku mun iruntha jaathikalaith thaesam kakkippottathupola, neengal athaith theettuppaduththumpothu athu ungalaiyum kakkippodaathapatikku, (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)

28 Neengal en kattalaikalaiyum en niyaayangalaiyum kaikkonndu, thaesaththilae piranthavanaanaalum ungal naduvae thangukira anniyanaanaalum intha aruvaruppukkalil ontaiyum seyyavaenndaam. That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you.

29 Ippatippatta aruvaruppaanavaikalil yaathontai yaaraavathu seythaal, seytha antha aaththumaakkal janaththil iraathapatikku araுppunndupovaarkal. For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.

30 Aakaiyaal ungalukkumun seyyappatta aruvaruppaana muraimaikalil yaathontai neengal seythu, avaikalaal ungalaith theettuppaduththikkollaathapatikku en kattalaiyaik kaikkollungal; naan ungal thaevanaakiya Karththar entu sol entar. Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the LORD your God.
