Genesis 14 in Tamil

1 சிநேயாரின் ராஜாவாகிய அம்ராப்பேலும், எலாசாரின் ராஜாவாகிய அரியோகும் ஏலாமின் ராஜாவாகிய கெதர்லாகோமேரும், ஜாதிகளின் ராஜாவாகிய திதியாலும் இருந்த நாட்களில்; And it came to pass in the days of Amraphel king of Shinar, Arioch king of Ellasar, Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of nations;

2 அவர்கள் சோதோமின் ராஜாவாகிய பேராவோடும், கொமோராவின் ராஜாவாகிய பிர்சாவோடும், அத்மாவின் ராஜாவாகிய சிநேயாவோடும், செபோயீமின் ராஜாவாகிய செமேபரோடும், சோவார் என்னும் பேலாவின் ராஜாவோடும் யுத்தம்பண்ணினார்கள். That these made war with Bera king of Sodom, and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, and Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela, which is Zoar.

3 இவர்களெல்லாரும் உப்புக்கடலாகிய சித்தீம் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலே கூடினார்கள். All these were joined together in the vale of Siddim, which is the salt sea.

4 இவர்கள் பன்னிரண்டு வருஷம் கெதர்லாகோமேரைச் சேவித்து, பதின்மூன்றாம் வருஷத்திலே கலகம்பண்ணினார்கள். Twelve years they served Chedorlaomer, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled.

5 பதினாலாம் வருஷத்திலே கெதர்லாகோமேரும், அவனோடே கூடியிருந்த ராஜாக்களும் வந்து, அஸ்தரோத்கர்னாயீமிலே இருந்த ரெப்பாயீமியரையும், காமிலே இருந்த சூசிமியரையும், சாவேகீரியத்தாயீமிலே இருந்த ஏமியரையும், And in the fourteenth year came Chedorlaomer, and the kings that were with him, and smote the Rephaim in Ashteroth Karnaim, and the Zuzims in Ham, and the Emins in Shaveh Kiriathaim,

6 சேயீர் மலைகளில் இருந்த ஓரியரையும், வனாந்தரத்துக்கு அருகான எல்பாரான்மட்டும் முறியடித்து, And the Horites in their mount Seir, unto Elparan, which is by the wilderness.

7 திரும்பிக் காதேஸென்னும் என்மிஸ்பாத்துக்கு வந்து, அமலேக்கியருடைய நாடனைத்தையும், அத்சாத்சோன் தாமாரிலே குடியிருந்த எமோரியரையும்கூடச் சங்கரித்தார்கள். And they returned, and came to Enmishpat, which is Kadesh, and smote all the country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites, that dwelt in Hazezontamar.

8 அப்பொழுது சோதோமின் ராஜாவும் கொமோராவின் ராஜாவும் அத்மாவின் ராஜாவும் செபோயீமின் ராஜாவும் சோவார் என்னும் பேலாவின் ராஜாவும் புறப்பட்டுச் சித்தீம் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலே, And there went out the king of Sodom, and the king of Gomorrah, and the king of Admah, and the king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela (the same is Zoar;) and they joined battle with them in the vale of Siddim;

9 ஏலாமின் ராஜாவாகிய கெதர்லாகோமேரோடும், ஜாதிகளின் ராஜாவாகிய திதியாலோடும் சிநேயாரின் ராஜாவாகிய அம்ராப்பேலோடும் எலாசாரின் ராஜாவாகிய அரியோகோடும் யுத்தம்பண்ணப் புறப்பட்டு, அந்த ஐந்து ராஜாக்களோடும் இந்த நாலு ராஜாக்களும் யுத்தம்பண்ணினார்கள். With Chedorlaomer the king of Elam, and with Tidal king of nations, and Amraphel king of Shinar, and Arioch king of Ellasar; four kings with five.

10 அந்தச் சித்தீம் பள்ளத்தாக்கு எங்கும் நிலக்கீல் உண்டாகும் கேணிகள் இருந்தது. சோதோம் கொமோராவின் ராஜாக்கள் முறிந்தோடி அங்கே விழுந்தார்கள்; மீந்தவர்கள் மலைகளுக்கு ஓடிப்போனார்கள். And the vale of Siddim was full of slime pits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there; and they that remained fled to the mountain.

11 அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் சோதோமிலும் கொமோராவிலுமுள்ள பொருள்கள் எல்லாவற்றையும், போஜனபதார்த்தங்கள் எல்லாவற்றையும் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு போய்விட்டார்கள். And they took all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all their victuals, and went their way.

12 ஆபிராமின் சகோதரனுடைய குமாரனாகிய லோத்து சோதோமிலே குடியிருந்தபடியால், அவனையும் அவன் பொருள்களையும் கொண்டுபோய்விட்டார்கள். And they took Lot, Abram's brother's son, who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed.

13 தப்பியோடின ஒருவன் எபிரேயனாகிய ஆபிராமிடத்தில் வந்து அதை அறிவித்தான்; ஆபிராம் தன்னோடே உடன்படிக்கை செய்திருந்த மனிதராகிய எஸ்கோலுக்கும் ஆநேருக்கும் சகோதரனாகிய மம்ரே என்னும் எமோரியனுடைய சம பூமியிலே அப்பொழுது குடியிருந்தான். And there came one that had escaped, and told Abram the Hebrew; for he dwelt in the plain of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner: and these were confederate with Abram.

14 தன் சகோதரன் சிறையாகக் கொண்டுபோகப்பட்டதை ஆபிராம் கேள்விப்பட்டபோது, அவன் தன் வீட்டிலே பிறந்த கைபடிந்தவர்களாகிய முந்நூற்றுப் பதினெட்டு ஆட்களுக்கும் ஆயுதம் தரிப்பித்து, தாண் என்னும் ஊர்மட்டும் அவர்களைத் தொடர்ந்து, And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan.

15 இராக்காலத்திலே அவனும் அவன் வேலைக்காரரும் பிரிந்து, பவிஞ்சுகளாய் அவர்கள்மேல் விழுந்து, அவர்களை முறியடித்து, தமஸ்குவுக்கு இடதுபுறமான ஓபாமட்டும் துரத்தி, And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the left hand of Damascus.

16 சகல பொருள்களையும் திருப்பிக்கொண்டுவந்தான்; தன் சகோதரனாகிய லோத்தையும், அவனுடைய பொருள்களையும், ஸ்திரீகளையும், ஜனங்களையும் திருப்பிக்கொண்டுவந்தான். And he brought back all the goods, and also brought again his brother Lot, and his goods, and the women also, and the people.

17 அவன் கெதர்லாகோமேரையும் அவனோடிருந்த ராஜாக்களையும் முறியடித்துத் திரும்பிவருகிறபோது, சோதோமின் ராஜா புறப்பட்டு, ராஜாவின் பள்ளத்தாக்கு என்னும் சாவே பள்ளத்தாக்குமட்டும் அவனுக்கு எதிர் கொண்டுபோனான். And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that were with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which is the king's dale.

18 அன்றியும், உன்னதமான தேவனுடைய ஆசாரியனாயிருந்த சாலேமின் ராஜாவாகிய மெல்கிசேதேக்கு அப்பமும் திராட்சரசமும் கொண்டுவந்து, And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.

19 அவனை ஆசீர்வதித்து, வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் உடையவராகிய உன்னதமான தேவனுடைய ஆசீர்வாதம் ஆபிராமுக்கு உண்டாவதாக. And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:

20 உன் சத்துருக்களை உன் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்த உன்னதமான தேவனுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம் என்று சொன்னான். இவனுக்கு ஆபிராம் எல்லாவற்றிலும் தசமபாகம் கொடுத்தான். And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

21 சோதோமின் ராஜா ஆபிராமை நோக்கி: ஜனங்களை எனக்குத் தாரும், பொருள்களை நீர் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளும் என்றான். And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself.

22 அதற்கு, ஆபிராம் சோதோமின் ராஜாவைப் பார்த்து: ஆபிராமை ஐசுவரியவானாக்கினேன் என்று நீர் சொல்லாதபடிக்கு நான் ஒரு சரட்டையாகிலும் பாதரட்சையின் வாரையாகிலும், உமக்கு உண்டானவைகளில் யாதொன்றையாகிலும் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளேன் என்று, And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,

23 வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் உடையவராகிய உன்னதமான தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு நேராக என் கையை உயர்த்துகிறேன். That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich:

24 வாலிபர் சாப்பிட்டது போக, என்னுடனே வந்த ஆநேர், எஸ்கோல், மம்ரே என்னும் புருஷருடைய பங்குமாத்திரமே வரவேண்டும்; இவர்கள் தங்கள் பங்கை எடுத்துக்கொள்ளட்டும் என்றான். Save only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men which went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion.

1 Sinaeyaarin raajaavaakiya amraappaelum, elaasaarin raajaavaakiya ariyokum aelaamin raajaavaakiya ketharlaakomaerum, jaathikalin raajaavaakiya thithiyaalum iruntha naatkalil; And it came to pass in the days of Amraphel king of Shinar, Arioch king of Ellasar, Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of nations;

2 Avarkal sothomin raajaavaakiya paeraavodum, komoraavin raajaavaakiya pirsaavodum, athmaavin raajaavaakiya sinaeyaavodum, sepoyeemin raajaavaakiya semaeparodum, sovaar ennum paelaavin raajaavodum yuththampannnninaarkal. That these made war with Bera king of Sodom, and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, and Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela, which is Zoar.

3 Ivarkalellaarum uppukkadalaakiya siththeem pallaththaakkilae kootinaarkal. All these were joined together in the vale of Siddim, which is the salt sea.

4 Ivarkal panniranndu varusham ketharlaakomaeraich seviththu, pathinmoontam varushaththilae kalakampannnninaarkal. Twelve years they served Chedorlaomer, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled.

5 Pathinaalaam varushaththilae ketharlaakomaerum, avanotae kootiyiruntha raajaakkalum vanthu, astharothkarnaayeemilae iruntha reppaayeemiyaraiyum, kaamilae iruntha soosimiyaraiyum, saavaegeeriyaththaayeemilae iruntha aemiyaraiyum, And in the fourteenth year came Chedorlaomer, and the kings that were with him, and smote the Rephaim in Ashteroth Karnaim, and the Zuzims in Ham, and the Emins in Shaveh Kiriathaim,

6 Seyeer malaikalil iruntha oriyaraiyum, vanaantharaththukku arukaana elpaaraanmattum muriyatiththu, And the Horites in their mount Seir, unto Elparan, which is by the wilderness.

7 Thirumpik kaathaesennum enmispaaththukku vanthu, amalaekkiyarutaiya naadanaiththaiyum, athsaathson thaamaarilae kutiyiruntha emoriyaraiyumkoodach sangariththaarkal. And they returned, and came to Enmishpat, which is Kadesh, and smote all the country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites, that dwelt in Hazezontamar.

8 Appoluthu sothomin raajaavum komoraavin raajaavum athmaavin raajaavum sepoyeemin raajaavum sovaar ennum paelaavin raajaavum purappattuch siththeem pallaththaakkilae, And there went out the king of Sodom, and the king of Gomorrah, and the king of Admah, and the king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela (the same is Zoar;) and they joined battle with them in the vale of Siddim;

9 Aelaamin raajaavaakiya ketharlaakomaerodum, jaathikalin raajaavaakiya thithiyaalodum sinaeyaarin raajaavaakiya amraappaelodum elaasaarin raajaavaakiya ariyokodum yuththampannnap purappattu, antha ainthu raajaakkalodum intha naalu raajaakkalum yuththampannnninaarkal. With Chedorlaomer the king of Elam, and with Tidal king of nations, and Amraphel king of Shinar, and Arioch king of Ellasar; four kings with five.

10 Anthach siththeem pallaththaakku engum nilakgeel unndaakum kaennikal irunthathu. Sothom komoraavin raajaakkal murinthoti angae vilunthaarkal; meenthavarkal malaikalukku otipponaarkal. And the vale of Siddim was full of slime pits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there; and they that remained fled to the mountain.

11 Appoluthu avarkal sothomilum komoraavilumulla porulkal ellaavattaைyum, pojanapathaarththangal ellaavattaைyum eduththukkonndu poyvittarkal. And they took all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all their victuals, and went their way.

12 Aapiraamin sakotharanutaiya kumaaranaakiya loththu sothomilae kutiyirunthapatiyaal, avanaiyum avan porulkalaiyum konndupoyvittarkal. And they took Lot, Abram's brother's son, who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed.

13 Thappiyotina oruvan epiraeyanaakiya aapiraamidaththil vanthu athai ariviththaan; aapiraam thannotae udanpatikkai seythiruntha manitharaakiya eskolukkum aanaerukkum sakotharanaakiya mamrae ennum emoriyanutaiya sama poomiyilae appoluthu kutiyirunthaan. And there came one that had escaped, and told Abram the Hebrew; for he dwelt in the plain of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner: and these were confederate with Abram.

14 Than sakotharan siraiyaakak konndupokappattathai aapiraam kaelvippattapothu, avan than veettilae pirantha kaipatinthavarkalaakiya munnoottaுp pathinettu aatkalukkum aayutham tharippiththu, thaann ennum oormattum avarkalaith thodarnthu, And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan.

15 Iraakkaalaththilae avanum avan vaelaikkaararum pirinthu, pavinjukalaay avarkalmael vilunthu, avarkalai muriyatiththu, thamaskuvukku idathupuramaana opaamattum thuraththi, And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the left hand of Damascus.

16 Sakala porulkalaiyum thiruppikkonnduvanthaan; than sakotharanaakiya loththaiyum, avanutaiya porulkalaiyum, sthireekalaiyum, janangalaiyum thiruppikkonnduvanthaan. And he brought back all the goods, and also brought again his brother Lot, and his goods, and the women also, and the people.

17 Avan ketharlaakomaeraiyum avanotiruntha raajaakkalaiyum muriyatiththuth thirumpivarukirapothu, sothomin raajaa purappattu, raajaavin pallaththaakku ennum saavae pallaththaakkumattum avanukku ethir konnduponaan. And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that were with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which is the king's dale.

18 Antiyum, unnathamaana thaevanutaiya aasaariyanaayiruntha saalaemin raajaavaakiya melkisethaekku appamum thiraatcharasamum konnduvanthu, And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.

19 Avanai aaseervathiththu, vaanaththaiyum poomiyaiyum utaiyavaraakiya unnathamaana thaevanutaiya aaseervaatham aapiraamukku unndaavathaaka. And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:

20 Un saththurukkalai un kaiyil oppukkoduththa unnathamaana thaevanukku Sthoththiram entu sonnaan. Ivanukku aapiraam ellaavattilum thasamapaakam koduththaan. And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

21 Sothomin raajaa aapiraamai Nnokki: janangalai enakkuth thaarum, porulkalai neer eduththukkollum entan. And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself.

22 Atharku, aapiraam sothomin raajaavaip paarththu: aapiraamai aisuvariyavaanaakkinaen entu neer sollaathapatikku naan oru sarattaைyaakilum paatharatchaைyin vaaraiyaakilum, umakku unndaanavaikalil yaathontaiyaakilum eduththukkollaen entu, And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,

23 Vaanaththaiyum poomiyaiyum utaiyavaraakiya unnathamaana thaevanaakiya karththarukku naeraaka en kaiyai uyarththukiraேn. That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich:

24 Vaalipar saappittathu poka, ennudanae vantha aanaer, eskol, mamrae ennum purusharutaiya pangumaaththiramae varavaenndum; ivarkal thangal pangai eduththukkollattum entan. Save only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men which went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion.
