2 Kings 20 in Tamil

1 அந்நாட்களில் எசேக்கியா வியாதிப்பட்டு மரணத்துக்கு ஏதுவாயிருந்தான்; அப்பொழுது ஆமோத்சின் குமாரனாகிய ஏசாயா என்னும் தீர்க்கதரிசி அவனிடத்தில் வந்து, அவனை நோக்கி: நீர் உமது வீட்டுக்காரியத்தை ஒழுங்குப்படுத்தும்; நீர் பிழைக்கமாட்டீர், மரித்துப்போவீர் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்றான். In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.

2 அப்பொழுது எசேக்கியா தன் முகத்தைச் சுவர்ப்புறமாகத் திரும்பிக் கொண்டு, கர்த்தரை நோக்கி: Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying,

3 ஆ கர்த்தாவே, நான் உமக்கு முன்பாக உண்மையும் மன உத்தமமுமாய் நடந்து, உமது பார்வைக்கு நலமானதைச் செய்தேன் என்பதை நினைத்தருளும் என்று விண்ணப்பம்பண்ணினான். எசேக்கியா மிகவும் அழுதான். I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

4 ஏசாயா பாதி முற்றத்தைவிட்டு அப்புறம் போகிறதற்குமுன்னே, கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை அவனுக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர் சொன்னது: And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying,

5 நீ திரும்பிப்போய், என் ஜனத்தின் அதிபதியாகிய எசேக்கியாவை நோக்கி: உன் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீதின் தேவனாயிருக்கிற கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: உன் விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கேட்டேன், உன் கண்ணீரைக் கண்டேன்; இதோ, நான் உன்னைக் குணமாக்குவேன்; மூன்றாம் நாளிலே நீ கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்துக்குப் போவாய். Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.

6 உன் நாட்களோடே பதினைந்து வருஷங்களைக் கூட்டுவேன்; உன்னையும் இந்த நகரத்தையும் அசீரியா ராஜாவின் கைக்குத் தப்புவித்து, என் நிமித்தமும் என் தாசனாகிய தாவீதின் நிமித்தமும் இந்த நகரத்துக்கு ஆதரவாய் இருப்பேன் என்று சொல் என்றார். And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.

7 பின்பு ஏசாயா: அத்திப்பழத்து அடையைக் கொண்டுவாருங்கள் என்றான்; அதை அவர்கள் கொண்டுவந்து, பிளவையின்மேல் பற்றுப்போட்டபோது அவன் பிழைத்தான். And Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.

8 எசேக்கியா ஏசாயாவை நோக்கி: கர்த்தர் என்னைக் குணமாக்குவதற்கும், மூன்றாம்நாளிலே நான் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்குப் போவதற்கும் அடையாளம் என்ன என்றான். And Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that the LORD will heal me, and that I shall go up into the house of the LORD the third day?

9 அதற்கு ஏசாயா: கர்த்தர் தாம் சொன்ன வார்த்தையின்படியே செய்வாரென்பதற்கு, கர்த்தரால் உனக்கு உண்டாகும் அடையாளமாகச் சாயை பத்துப் பாகை முன்னிட்டுப் போகவேண்டுமோ, பத்துப்பாகை பின்னிட்டுத் திரும்ப வேண்டுமோ என்று கேட்டான். And Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?

10 அதற்கு எசேக்கியா: சாயை பத்துப்பாகை முன்னிட்டுப்போகிறது லேசான காரியம்; அப்படி வேண்டாம்; சாயை பத்துப்பாகை பின்னிட்டுத் திரும்பவேண்டும் என்றான். And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees.

11 அப்பொழுது ஏசாயா தீர்க்கதரிசி கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகையில், அவர் ஆகாசுடைய சூரிய கடியாரத்தில் பாகைக்குப் பாகை முன்போன சாயை பத்துப்பாகை பின்னிட்டுத் திரும்பும்படி செய்தார். And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the LORD: and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz.

12 அக்காலத்திலே பலாதானின் குமாரனாகிய பெரோதாக் பலாதான் என்னும் பாபிலோனின் ராஜா எசேக்கியா வியாதிப்பட்டிருக்கிறதைக் கேட்டு, அவனிடத்துக்கு நிருபங்களையும் வெகுமானத்தையும் அனுப்பினான். At that time Berodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present unto Hezekiah: for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick.

13 எசேக்கியா அவர்களை அங்கிகரித்து, பின்பு அவர்களுக்குத் தன் பொக்கிஷசாலை அனைத்தையும், வெள்ளியையும், பொன்னையும், கந்தவர்க்கங்களையும், நல்ல பரிமளதைலத்தையும், தன் ஆயுதசாலை அனைத்தையும் தன் பொக்கிஷசாலைகளிலுள்ள எல்லாவற்றையும் காண்பித்தான்; தன் அரமனையிலும் தன் ராஜ்யத்தில் எங்கும் எசேக்கியா அவர்களுக்குக் காண்பியாத பொருள் ஒன்றும் இல்லை. And Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and showed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armor, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah showed them not.

14 அப்பொழுது ஏசாயா தீர்க்கதரிசி எசேக்கியா ராஜாவினிடத்தில் வந்து: அந்த மனுஷர் என்ன சொன்னார்கள் எங்கேயிருந்து உம்மிடத்தில் வந்தார்கள் என்று கேட்டான். அதற்கு எசேக்கியா: பாபிலோன் என்னும் தூரதேசத்திலிருந்து வந்தார்கள் என்றான். Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country, even from Babylon.

15 அப்பொழுது அவன்: உம்முடைய வீட்டில் என்னத்தைப் பார்த்தார்கள் என்று கேட்டான். அதற்கு எசேக்கியா: என் வீட்டிலுள்ள எல்லாவற்றையும் பார்த்தார்கள்; என் பொக்கிஷங்களில் நான் அவர்களுக்குக் காண்பியாத பொருள் ஒன்றும் இல்லை என்றான். And he said, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All the things that are in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not showed them.

16 அப்பொழுது ஏசாயா எசேக்கியாவை நோக்கி: கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தைக் கேளும். And Isaiah said unto Hezekiah, Hear the word of the LORD.

17 இதோ, நாட்கள் வரும்; அப்பொழுது உமது வீட்டில் உள்ளதிலும், உமது பிதாக்கள் இந்நாள்வரைக்கும் சேர்த்ததிலும் ஒன்றும் மீதியாக வைக்கப்படாமல் எல்லாம் பாபிலோனுக்குக் கொண்டுபோகப்படும். Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried into Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.

18 நீர் பெறப்போகிற உமது சந்தானமாகிய; உமது குமாரர்களிலும் சிலர் பாபிலோன் ராஜாவின் அரமனையிலே அரமனை வேலைக்காரராயிருப்பார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்றான். And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.

19 அப்பொழுது எசேக்கியா ஏசாயாவை நோக்கி: நீர் சொன்ன கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை நல்லதுதான் என்று சொல்லி, என் நாட்களிலாவது சமாதானமும் உண்மையும் இருக்குமே என்றான். Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. And he said, Is it not good, if peace and truth be in my days?

20 எசேக்கியாவின் மற்ற வர்த்தமானங்களும், அவனுடைய எல்லா வல்லமையும், அவன் ஒரு குளத்தையும் சாலகத்தையும் உண்டாக்கினதினாலே தண்ணீரை நகரத்திற்குள்ளே வரப்பண்ணினதும், யூதாவுடைய ராஜாக்களின் நாளாகமப் புஸ்தகத்தில் அல்லவோ எழுதியிருக்கிறது. And the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made a pool, and a conduit, and brought water into the city, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

21 எசேக்கியா தன் பிதாக்களோடே நித்திரையடைந்தபின், அவன் குமாரனாகிய மனாசே அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் ராஜாவானான். And Hezekiah slept with his fathers: and Manasseh his son reigned in his stead.

1 Annaatkalil esekkiyaa viyaathippattu maranaththukku aethuvaayirunthaan; appoluthu aamothsin kumaaranaakiya aesaayaa ennum theerkkatharisi avanidaththil vanthu, avanai Nnokki: neer umathu veettukkaariyaththai olunguppaduththum; neer pilaikkamaattir, mariththuppoveer entu Karththar sollukiraar entan. In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.

2 Appoluthu esekkiyaa than mukaththaich suvarppuramaakath thirumpik konndu, karththarai Nnokki: Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying,

3 Aa karththaavae, naan umakku munpaaka unnmaiyum mana uththamamumaay nadanthu, umathu paarvaikku nalamaanathaich seythaen enpathai ninaiththarulum entu vinnnappampannnninaan. Esekkiyaa mikavum aluthaan. I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

4 Aesaayaa paathi muttaththaivittu appuram pokiratharkumunnae, karththarutaiya vaarththai avanukku unndaaki, avar sonnathu: And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying,

5 Nee thirumpippoy, en janaththin athipathiyaakiya esekkiyaavai Nnokki: un thakappanaakiya thaaveethin thaevanaayirukkira Karththar sollukirathu ennavental: un vinnnappaththaik kaettaேn, un kannnneeraik kanntaen; itho, naan unnaik kunamaakkuvaen; moontam naalilae nee karththarutaiya aalayaththukkup povaay. Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.

6 Un naatkalotae pathinainthu varushangalaik koottuvaen; unnaiyum intha nakaraththaiyum aseeriyaa raajaavin kaikkuth thappuviththu, en nimiththamum en thaasanaakiya thaaveethin nimiththamum intha nakaraththukku aatharavaay iruppaen entu sol entar. And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.

7 Pinpu aesaayaa: aththippalaththu ataiyaik konnduvaarungal entan; athai avarkal konnduvanthu, pilavaiyinmael pattaுppottapothu avan pilaiththaan. And Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.

8 Esekkiyaa aesaayaavai Nnokki: Karththar ennaik kunamaakkuvatharkum, moontamnaalilae naan karththarutaiya aalayaththirkup povatharkum ataiyaalam enna entan. And Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that the LORD will heal me, and that I shall go up into the house of the LORD the third day?

9 Atharku aesaayaa: Karththar thaam sonna vaarththaiyinpatiyae seyvaarenpatharku, karththaraal unakku unndaakum ataiyaalamaakach saayai paththup paakai munnittup pokavaenndumo, paththuppaakai pinnittuth thirumpa vaenndumo entu kaettan. And Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?

10 Atharku esekkiyaa: saayai paththuppaakai munnittuppokirathu laesaana kaariyam; appati vaenndaam; saayai paththuppaakai pinnittuth thirumpavaenndum entan. And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees.

11 Appoluthu aesaayaa theerkkatharisi karththarai Nnokkik kooppidukaiyil, avar aakaasutaiya sooriya katiyaaraththil paakaikkup paakai munpona saayai paththuppaakai pinnittuth thirumpumpati seythaar. And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the LORD: and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz.

12 Akkaalaththilae palaathaanin kumaaranaakiya perothaak palaathaan ennum paapilonin raajaa esekkiyaa viyaathippattirukkirathaik kaettu, avanidaththukku nirupangalaiyum vekumaanaththaiyum anuppinaan. At that time Berodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present unto Hezekiah: for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick.

13 Esekkiyaa avarkalai angikariththu, pinpu avarkalukkuth than pokkishasaalai anaiththaiyum, velliyaiyum, ponnaiyum, kanthavarkkangalaiyum, nalla parimalathailaththaiyum, than aayuthasaalai anaiththaiyum than pokkishasaalaikalilulla ellaavattaைyum kaannpiththaan; than aramanaiyilum than raajyaththil engum esekkiyaa avarkalukkuk kaannpiyaatha porul ontum illai. And Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and showed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armor, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah showed them not.

14 Appoluthu aesaayaa theerkkatharisi esekkiyaa raajaavinidaththil vanthu: antha manushar enna sonnaarkal engaeyirunthu ummidaththil vanthaarkal entu kaettan. Atharku esekkiyaa: paapilon ennum thoorathaesaththilirunthu vanthaarkal entan. Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country, even from Babylon.

15 Appoluthu avan: ummutaiya veettil ennaththaip paarththaarkal entu kaettan. Atharku esekkiyaa: en veettilulla ellaavattaைyum paarththaarkal; en pokkishangalil naan avarkalukkuk kaannpiyaatha porul ontum illai entan. And he said, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All the things that are in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not showed them.

16 Appoluthu aesaayaa esekkiyaavai Nnokki: karththarutaiya vaarththaik kaelum. And Isaiah said unto Hezekiah, Hear the word of the LORD.

17 Itho, naatkal varum; appoluthu umathu veettil ullathilum, umathu pithaakkal innaalvaraikkum serththathilum ontum meethiyaaka vaikkappadaamal ellaam paapilonukkuk konndupokappadum. Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried into Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.

18 Neer perappokira umathu santhaanamaakiya; umathu kumaararkalilum silar paapilon raajaavin aramanaiyilae aramanai vaelaikkaararaayiruppaarkal entu Karththar sollukiraar entan. And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.

19 Appoluthu esekkiyaa aesaayaavai Nnokki: neer sonna karththarutaiya vaarththai nallathuthaan entu solli, en naatkalilaavathu samaathaanamum unnmaiyum irukkumae entan. Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. And he said, Is it not good, if peace and truth be in my days?

20 Esekkiyaavin matta varththamaanangalum, avanutaiya ellaa vallamaiyum, avan oru kulaththaiyum saalakaththaiyum unndaakkinathinaalae thannnneerai nakaraththirkullae varappannnninathum, yoothaavutaiya raajaakkalin naalaakamap pusthakaththil allavo eluthiyirukkirathu. And the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made a pool, and a conduit, and brought water into the city, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

21 Esekkiyaa than pithaakkalotae niththiraiyatainthapin, avan kumaaranaakiya manaase avan sthaanaththil raajaavaanaan. And Hezekiah slept with his fathers: and Manasseh his son reigned in his stead.
