1எருசலேமின் குடிகள், அவன் இளையகுமாரனாகிய அகசியாவை அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் ராஜாவாக்கினார்கள்; அரபியரோடே கூடவந்து பாளயமிறங்கினதை தண்டிலிருந்தவர்கள் மூத்தகுமாரரையெல்லாம் கொன்றுபோட்டார்கள்; இவ்விதமாய் அகசியா என்னும் யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய யோராமின் குமாரன் அரசாண்டான்.And the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ahaziah his youngest son king in his stead: for the band of men that came with the Arabians to the camp had slain all the eldest. So Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah reigned.
2அகசியா ராஜாவாகிறபோது இருபத்திரண்டு வயதாயிருந்து, ஒரு வருஷம் எருசலேமில் அரசாண்டான்; ஒம்ரியின் குமாரத்தியாகிய அவன் தாயின்பேர் அத்தாலியாள்.Forty and two years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Athaliah the daughter of Omri.
3அவனும் ஆகாப் குடும்பத்தாரின் வழிகளில் நடந்தான்; துன்மார்க்கமாய் நடக்க அவனுடைய தாய் அவனுக்கு ஆலோசனைக்காரியாயிருந்தாள்.He also walked in the ways of the house of Ahab: for his mother was his counselor to do wickedly.
4அவன் ஆகாபின் குடும்பத்தைப்போல் கர்த்தரின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்தான்; அவன் தகப்பன் சென்றுபோனபின்பு, அவர்கள் அவனுக்குக் கேடாக அவனுடைய ஆலோசனைக்காரராயிருந்தார்கள்.Wherefore he did evil in the sight of the LORD like the house of Ahab: for they were his counselors after the death of his father to his destruction.
5அவர்களுடைய ஆலோசனைக்கு உட்பட்டவனாய், அவன் இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவாகிய யோராம் என்னும் ஆகாபின் குமாரனோடே கூட, கிலேயாத்திலுள்ள ராமோத்திற்குச் சீரியாவின் ராஜாவாகிய ஆசகேலுக்கு விரோதமாக யுத்தம்பண்ணப்போனான்; அங்கே சீரியர் யோராமைக் காயப்படுத்தினார்கள்.He walked also after their counsel, and went with Jehoram the son of Ahab king of Israel to war against Hazael king of Syria at Ramothgilead: and the Syrians smote Joram.
6அப்பொழுது தான் சீரியாவின் ராஜாவாகிய ஆசகேலோடு யுத்தமபண்ணுகையில், தன்னை அவர்கள் ராமாவிலே வெட்டின காயங்களை யெஸ்ரெயேலிலே ஆற்றிக்கொள்ள அவன் திரும்பினான், அப்பொழுது ஆகாபின் குமாரனாகிய யோராம் வியாதியாயிருந்தபடியினால் தாவீதின் ராஜாவாகிய யோராமின் குமாரன் அகசியா, யெஸ்ரெயேலிலிருக்கிற அவனைப் பார்க்கிறதற்குப் போனான்.And he returned to be healed in Jezreel because of the wounds which were given him at Ramah, when he fought with Hazael king of Syria. And Azariah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Jehoram the son of Ahab at Jezreel, because he was sick.
7அகசியா யோராமிடத்துக்கு வந்தது அவனுக்கு தேவனால் உண்டான கேடாக லபித்தது; எப்படியென்றால், அவன் வந்தபோது யோராமுடனே கூட, கர்த்தர் ஆகாபின் குடும்பத்தாரைச் சங்கரிக்க அபிஷேகம்பண்ணுவித்த நிம்சியின் குமாரனாகிய யெகூவுக்கு நேராக வெளியே போனான்.And the destruction of Ahaziah was of God by coming to Joram: for when he was come, he went out with Jehoram against Jehu the son of Nimshi, whom the LORD had anointed to cut off the house of Ahab.
8யெகூ, ஆகாபின் குடும்பத்தாருக்கு ஆக்கினை நடப்பிக்கும்போது, அவன் அகசியாவைச் சேவிக்கிற யூதாவின் பிரபுக்களையும், அகசியாவுடைய சகோதரரின் குமாரரையும் கண்டுபிடித்துக் கொன்றுபோட்டான்.And it came to pass, that, when Jehu was executing judgment upon the house of Ahab, and found the princes of Judah, and the sons of the brethren of Ahaziah, that ministered to Ahaziah, he slew them.
9பின்பு அவன் அகசியாவைத் தேடினான்; சமாரியாவில் ஒளித்துக்கொண்டிருந்த அவனை அவர்கள் பிடித்து, யெகூவினிடத்தில் கொண்டுவந்து, அவனைக் கொன்றுபோட்டு: இவன் தன் முழுஇருதயத்தோடும் கர்த்தரைத் தேடின யோசபாத்தின் குமாரன் என்று சொல்லி, அவனை அடக்கம்பண்ணினார்கள்; அப்படியே அரசாளுகிறதற்குப் பெலன்கொள்ளத்தக்க ஒருவரும் அகசியாவின் குடும்பத்தில் இல்லாமற்போயிற்று.And he sought Ahaziah: and they caught him, (for he was hid in Samaria,) and brought him to Jehu: and when they had slain him, they buried him: Because, said they, he is the son of Jehoshaphat, who sought the LORD with all his heart. So the house of Ahaziah had no power to keep still the kingdom.
10அகசியாவின் தாயாகிய அத்தாலியாள் தன் குமாரன் இறந்துபோனதைக் கண்டபோது, அவள் எழும்பி, யூதா குடும்பத்திலுள்ள ராஜவம்சமான யாவரையும் சங்காரம்பண்ணினாள்.But when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal of the house of Judah.
11ராஜாவின் குமாரத்தியாகிய யோசேபியாத், கொன்றுபோடப்படுகிற ராஜகுமாரருக்குள் இருக்கிற அகசியாவின் ஆண்பிள்ளையாகிய யோவாசைக் களவாயெடுத்துக்கொண்டு, அவனையும் அவன் தாதியையும் சயனவீட்டிலே வைத்தாள்; அப்படியே அத்தாலியாள் அவனைக் கொன்றுபோடாதபடிக்கு, ராஜாவாகிய யோராமின் குமாரத்தியும் ஆசாரியனாகிய யோய்தாவின் பெண்ஜாதியுமாகிய யோசேபியாத் அவனை ஒளித்துவைத்தாள், அவள் அகசியாவின் சகோதரியாயிருந்தாள்.But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king's sons that were slain, and put him and his nurse in a bedchamber. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of king Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada the priest, (for she was the sister of Ahaziah,) hid him from Athaliah, so that she slew him not.
12இவர்களோடு அவன் ஆறுவருஷமாய்க் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திலே ஒளித்துவைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தான்; அத்தாலியாள் தேசத்தின்மேல் ராஜ்யபாரம்பண்ணினாள்.And he was with them hid in the house of God six years: and Athaliah reigned over the land.
1Erusalaemin kutikal, avan ilaiyakumaaranaakiya akasiyaavai avan sthaanaththil raajaavaakkinaarkal; arapiyarotae koodavanthu paalayamiranginathai thanntilirunthavarkal mooththakumaararaiyellaam kontupottarkal; ivvithamaay akasiyaa ennum yoothaavin raajaavaakiya yoraamin kumaaran arasaanndaan.And the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ahaziah his youngest son king in his stead: for the band of men that came with the Arabians to the camp had slain all the eldest. 5Avarkalutaiya aalosanaikku utpattavanaay, avan isravaelin raajaavaakiya yoraam ennum aakaapin kumaaranotae kooda, kilaeyaaththilulla raamoththirkuch seeriyaavin raajaavaakiya aasakaelukku virothamaaka yuththampannnapponaan; angae seeriyar yoraamaik kaayappaduththinaarkal.He walked also after their counsel, and went with Jehoram the son of Ahab king of Israel to war against Hazael king of Syria at Ramothgilead: and the Syrians smote Joram.
6Appoluthu thaan seeriyaavin raajaavaakiya aasakaelodu yuththamapannnukaiyil, thannai avarkal raamaavilae vettina kaayangalai yesreyaelilae aattikkolla avan thirumpinaan, appoluthu aakaapin kumaaranaakiya yoraam viyaathiyaayirunthapatiyinaal thaaveethin raajaavaakiya yoraamin kumaaran akasiyaa, yesreyaelilirukkira avanaip paarkkiratharkup ponaan.And he returned to be healed in Jezreel because of the wounds which were given him at Ramah, when he fought with Hazael king of Syria. And Azariah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Jehoram the son of Ahab at Jezreel, because he was sick.
7Akasiyaa yoraamidaththukku vanthathu avanukku thaevanaal unndaana kaedaaka lapiththathu; eppatiyental, avan vanthapothu yoraamudanae kooda, Karththar aakaapin kudumpaththaaraich sangarikka apishaekampannnuviththa nimsiyin kumaaranaakiya yekoovukku naeraaka veliyae ponaan.And the destruction of Ahaziah was of God by coming to Joram: for when he was come, he went out with Jehoram against Jehu the son of Nimshi, whom the LORD had anointed to cut off the house of Ahab.

So the house of Ahaziah had no power to keep still the kingdom.
10Akasiyaavin thaayaakiya aththaaliyaal than kumaaran iranthuponathaik kanndapothu, aval elumpi, yoothaa kudumpaththilulla raajavamsamaana yaavaraiyum sangaarampannnninaal.But when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal of the house of Judah.
11Raajaavin kumaaraththiyaakiya yosepiyaath, kontupodappadukira raajakumaararukkul irukkira akasiyaavin aannpillaiyaakiya yovaasaik kalavaayeduththukkonndu, avanaiyum avan thaathiyaiyum sayanaveettilae vaiththaal; appatiyae aththaaliyaal avanaik kontupodaathapatikku, raajaavaakiya yoraamin kumaaraththiyum aasaariyanaakiya yoythaavin pennjaathiyumaakiya yosepiyaath avanai oliththuvaiththaal, aval akasiyaavin sakothariyaayirunthaal.But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king's sons that were slain, and put him and his nurse in a bedchamber. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of king Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada the priest, (for she was the sister of Ahaziah,) hid him from Athaliah, so that she slew him not.
12Ivarkalodu avan aaraுvarushamaayk karththarutaiya aalayaththilae oliththuvaikkappattirunthaan; aththaaliyaal thaesaththinmael raajyapaarampannnninaal.And he was with them hid in the house of God six years: and Athaliah reigned over the land.
