1 Samuel 13 in Tamil

1 சவுல் ராஜ்யபாரம்பண்ணி, ஒரு வருஷமாயிற்று; அவன் இஸ்ரவேலை இரண்டாம் வருஷம் அரசாண்டபோது, Saul reigned one year; and when he had reigned two years over Israel,

Saul chose him three thousand men of Israel; whereof two thousand were with Saul in Michmash and in mount Bethel, and a thousand were with Jonathan in Gibeah of Benjamin: and the rest of the people he sent every man to his tent.

3 யோனத்தான் கேபாவிலே தாணையம் இருந்த பெலிஸ்தரை முறிய அடித்தான்; பெலிஸ்தர் அதைக் கேள்விப்பட்டார்கள்; ஆகையினால் இதை எபிரெயர் கேட்கக்கடவர்கள் என்று சவுல் தேசமெங்கும் எக்காளம் ஊதுவித்தான். And Jonathan smote the garrison of the Philistines that was in Geba, and the Philistines heard of it. And Saul blew the trumpet throughout all the land, saying, Let the Hebrews hear.

4 தாணையம் இருந்த பெலிஸ்தரைச் சவுல் முறிய அடித்தான் என்றும், இஸ்ரவேலர் பெலிஸ்தருக்கு அருவருப்பானார்கள் என்றும், இஸ்ரவேலெல்லாம் கேள்விப்பட்டபோது, ஜனங்கள் சவுலுக்குப் பின்செல்லும்படி கில்காலுக்கு வரவழைக்கப்பட்டார்கள். And all Israel heard say that Saul had smitten a garrison of the Philistines, and that Israel also was had in abomination with the Philistines. And the people were called together after Saul to Gilgal.

And the Philistines gathered themselves together to fight with Israel, thirty thousand chariots, and six thousand horsemen, and people as the sand which is on the sea shore in multitude: and they came up, and pitched in Michmash, eastward from Bethaven.

6 அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேலர் தங்களுக்கு உண்டான இக்கட்டைக் கண்டபோது, ஜனங்கள் தங்களுக்கு உண்டான நெருக்கத்தினாலே கெபிகளிலும், முட்காடுகளிலும், கன்மலைகளிலும், துருக்கங்களிலும், குகைகளிலும் ஒளித்துக்கொண்டார்கள் When the men of Israel saw that they were in a strait, (for the people were distressed,) then the people did hide themselves in caves, and in thickets, and in rocks, and in high places, and in pits.

7 எபிரெயரில் சிலர் யோர்தானையும் கடந்து, காத் நாட்டிற்கும் கீலேயாத்தேசத்திற்கும் போனார்கள்; சவுலோ இன்னும் கில்காலில் இருந்தான்; சகல ஜனங்களும் பயந்துகொண்டு அவனுக்குப் பின்சென்றார்கள். And some of the Hebrews went over Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead. As for Saul, he was yet in Gilgal, and all the people followed him trembling.

8 அவன் தனக்குச் சாமுவேல் குறித்த காலத்தின்படி ஏழுநாள்மட்டும் காத்திருந்தான்; சாமுவேல் கில்காலுக்கு வரவில்லை, ஜனங்கள் அவனை விட்டுச் சிதறிப் போனார்கள். And he tarried seven days, according to the set time that Samuel had appointed: but Samuel came not to Gilgal; and the people were scattered from him.

9 அப்பொழுது சவுல்: சர்வாங்க தகனபலியையும் சமாதானபலிகளையும் என்னிடத்தில் கொண்டுவாருங்கள் என்று சொல்லி, சர்வாங்கதகனபலியைச் செலுத்தினான். And Saul said, Bring hither a burnt offering to me, and peace offerings. And he offered the burnt offering.

Therefore said I, The Philistines will come down now upon me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication unto the LORD: I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering.

13 சாமுவேβ் சவுலȠΪ் பார்Τ்து: புத்தியீனΠξய்ச் செய்தீர்; உம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உமக்கு விதித்த கட்டளையைக் கைக்கொள்ளாமற்போனீர்; மற்றப்படி கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேலின் மேல் உம்முடைய ராஜ்யபாரத்தை என்றைக்கும் ஸ்திரப்படுத்துவார். And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the LORD have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever.

But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee.

And Samuel arose, and gat him up from Gilgal unto Gibeah of Benjamin. And Saul numbered the people that were present with him, about six hundred men.

And the spoilers came out of the camp of the Philistines in three companies: one company turned unto the way that leadeth to Ophrah, unto the land of Shual:

19 எபிரெயர் பட்டயங்களையாகிலும் ஈட்டிகளையாகிலும் உண்டுபண்ணாதபடிக்குப் பார்த்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டும் என்று பெலிஸ்தர் சொல்லியிருந்தபடியால், இஸ்ரவேல் தேசத்தில் எங்கும் ஒரு கொல்லன் அகப்படவில்லை. Now there was no smith found throughout all the land of Israel: for the Philistines said, Lest the Hebrews make them swords or spears:

So it came to pass in the day of battle, that there was neither sword nor spear found in the hand of any of the people that were with Saul and Jonathan: but with Saul and with Jonathan his son was there found.

1 Savul raajyapaarampannnni, oru varushamaayittaு; avan isravaelai iranndaam varusham arasaanndapothu, Saul reigned one year; and when he had reigned two years over Israel,

2 Isravaelil moovaayirampaeraith thanakkuth therinthukonndaan; avarkalil iranndaayirampaer savulotaekooda mikmaasilum peththael malaiyilum, aayirampaer yonaththaanotaekoodap penyameen naattilulla kipiyaavilum irunthaarkal; matta janangalai avaravar koodaarangalukku anuppivittan. Saul chose him three thousand men of Israel; whereof two thousand were with Saul in Michmash and in mount Bethel, and a thousand were with Jonathan in Gibeah of Benjamin: and the rest of the people he sent every man to his tent.

3 Yonaththaan kaepaavilae thaannaiyam iruntha pelistharai muriya atiththaan; pelisthar athaik kaelvippattarkal; aakaiyinaal ithai epireyar kaetkakkadavarkal entu savul thaesamengum ekkaalam oothuviththaan. And Jonathan smote the garrison of the Philistines that was in Geba, and the Philistines heard of it. And Saul blew the trumpet throughout all the land, saying, Let the Hebrews hear.

4 Thaannaiyam iruntha pelistharaich savul muriya atiththaan entum, isravaelar pelistharukku aruvaruppaanaarkal entum, isravaelellaam kaelvippattapothu, janangal savulukkup pinsellumpati kilkaalukku varavalaikkappattarkal. And all Israel heard say that Saul had smitten a garrison of the Philistines, and that Israel also was had in abomination with the Philistines. And the people were called together after Saul to Gilgal.

5 Pelisthar isravaelodu yuththam pannnumpati muppathinaayiram irathangalodum, aaraayiram kuthiraiveerarodum, kadarkarai manalaththanai janangalodum kootikkonnduvanthu, peththaavaelukkuk kilakkaana mikmaasilae paalayamiranginaarkal. And the Philistines gathered themselves together to fight with Israel, thirty thousand chariots, and six thousand horsemen, and people as the sand which is on the sea shore in multitude: and they came up, and pitched in Michmash, eastward from Bethaven.

6 Appoluthu isravaelar thangalukku unndaana ikkattaைk kanndapothu, janangal thangalukku unndaana nerukkaththinaalae kepikalilum, mutkaadukalilum, kanmalaikalilum, thurukkangalilum, kukaikalilum oliththukkonndaarkal When the men of Israel saw that they were in a strait, (for the people were distressed,) then the people did hide themselves in caves, and in thickets, and in rocks, and in high places, and in pits.

7 Epireyaril silar yorthaanaiyum kadanthu, kaath naattirkum geelaeyaaththaesaththirkum ponaarkal; savulo innum kilkaalil irunthaan; sakala janangalum payanthukonndu avanukkup pinsentarkal. 9 Appoluthu savul: sarvaanga thakanapaliyaiyum samaathaanapalikalaiyum ennidaththil konnduvaarungal entu solli, sarvaangathakanapaliyaich seluththinaan. And Saul said, Bring hither a burnt offering to me, and peace offerings. And he offered the burnt offering.

10 Avan sarvaanga thakanapaliyittu mutikirapothu, itho, saamuvael vanthaan; savul avanaich santhiththu vanthananjaெyya avanukku ethirkonnduponaan. And it came to pass, that as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might salute him.

11 Neer seythathu enna entu saamuvael kaettatharku savul: janangal ennaivittuch sitharippokirathaiyum, kuriththa naatkalin thittaththilae neervaraathathaiyum, pelisthar mikmaasilae kootivanthirukkirathaiyum, naan kanndapatiyinalae, And Samuel said, What hast thou done? And Saul said, Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that thou camest not within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered themselves together at Michmash;

12 Kilkaalil pelisthar enakku virothamaay vanthuviduvaarkal entum, naan innum karththarutaiya samukaththai Nnokki vinnnappampannnavillai entum, ennnnith thunninthu, sarvaanga thakanapaliyaich seluththinaχn entaΩ். Therefore said I, The Philistines will come down now upon me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication unto the LORD: I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering.

13 Saamuvaeβ் savulaȠΪ் paarΤ்thu: puththiyeenaΠξych seytheer; ummutaiya thaevanaakiya Karththar umakku vithiththa kattalaiyaik kaikkollaamarponeer; mattappati Karththar isravaelin mael ummutaiya raajyapaaraththai entaikkum sthirappaduththuvaar. And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the LORD have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever.

14 Ippotho ummutaiya raajyapaaram nilainirkaathu; Karththar thammutaiya iruthayaththirku aetta oru manushanaith thamakkuth thaeti, avanaik Karththar thammutaiya janangalmael thalaivanaayirukkak kattalaiyittar; Karththar umakku vithiththa kattalaiyai neer kaikkollavillaiyae entu sonnaan. But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee.

15 Saamuvael elunthirunthu, kilkaalai vittu, penyameen naattilulla kipiyaavukkup ponaan; savul thannotaekooda irukkira janaththaith thokaipaarkkirapothu, aerakkuraiya araுnooraுpaer irunthaarkal. And Samuel arose, and gat him up from Gilgal unto Gibeah of Benjamin. And Saul numbered the people that were present with him, about six hundred men.

16 Savulum avan kumaaranaakiya yonaththaanum avarkalotaekooda irukkira janangalum penyameen naattilulla kipiyaavil irunthuvittarkal; pelistharo mikmaasilae paalayamirangiyirunthaarkal. And Saul, and Jonathan his son, and the people that were present with them, abode in Gibeah of Benjamin: but the Philistines encamped in Michmash.

17 Kollaikkaarar pelistharin paalayaththilirunthu moontu pataiyaayp purappattuvanthaarkal; oru patai opraavaliyaaych soovaal naattirku naeraakap poyittaு. And the spoilers came out of the camp of the Philistines in three companies: one company turned unto the way that leadeth to Ophrah, unto the land of Shual:

18 Vaeroru patai peththoron valiyaayp poyittaு; vaeroru pataivanaantharaththil irukkira sepoyeemin pallaththaakkukku ethiraana ellaivaliyaayp poyittaு. And another company turned the way to Bethhoron: and another company turned to the way of the border that looketh to the valley of Zeboim toward the wilderness.

19 Epireyar pattayangalaiyaakilum eettikalaiyaakilum unndupannnnaathapatikkup paarththukkollavaenndum entu pelisthar solliyirunthapatiyaal, Israel thaesaththil engum oru kollan akappadavillai. Now there was no smith found throughout all the land of Israel: for the Philistines said, Lest the Hebrews make them swords or spears:

20 Isravaelar yaavarum avaravar thangal koluvirumpukalaiyum, thangal mannvettikalaiyum, thangal kodarikalaiyum, thangal kadappaaraikalaiyum theettik koormaiyaakkukiratharku, pelistharidaththukkup pokavaenntiyathaayirunthathu. But all the Israelites went down to the Philistines, to sharpen every man his share, and his coulter, and his axe, and his mattock.

21 Kadappaaraikalaiyum, mannvettikalaiyum, mukkoorulla aayuthangalaiyum, kodaarikalaiyum, thaattaுkkolkalaiyum koormaiyaakkukiratharku arangal maaththiram avarkalidaththil irunthathu. Yet they had a file for the mattocks, and for the coulters, and for the forks, and for the axes, and to sharpen the goads.

22 Yuththanaal vanthapothu, savulukkum avan kumaaranaakiya yonaththaanukkumaeyanti, savulodum yonaththaanodum irukkira janangalil oruvar kaiyilum pattayamum eettiyum illaathirunthathu. So it came to pass in the day of battle, that there was neither sword nor spear found in the hand of any of the people that were with Saul and Jonathan: but with Saul and with Jonathan his son was there found.

23 Pelistharin paalayam mikmaasilirunthu pokira valimattum parampiyirunthathu. And the garrison of the Philistines went out to the passage of Michmash.
