சாமுவேல் மரணமடைந்தான். இஸ்ரவேலர் எல்லாரும் கூடிவந்து, அவனுக்காகத் துக்கங்கொண்டாடி, ராமாவிலிருக்கிற அவனுடைய வளவிலே அவனை அடக்கம்பண்ணினார்கள்; தாவீது எழுந்து, பாரான் வனாந்தரத்திற்குப் புறப்பட்டுப் போனான்.
