மனாசே தன் பிதாக்களோடே நித்திரையடைந்தபின்பு, அவனை அவன் வீட்டிலே அடக்கம்பண்ணினார்கள்; அவன் குமாரனாகிய ஆமோன் அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் ராஜாவானான்.

அவன் மரித்ததும் தனது முற்பிதாக்களோடு அடக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டான். எனவே அவனை ஜனங்கள் அவனது சொந்த அரண்மனையிலேயே அடக்கம் செய்தனர். மனாசேயின் இடத்தில் ஆமோன் புதிய அரசன் ஆனான். அவன் மனாசேயின் மகன் ஆவான்.
