ஒருவனும் பிறனுக்கு விரோதமாய்த் தன் இருதயத்தில் தீங்கு நினையாமலும், பொய்யாணையின்மேல் பிரியப்படாமலும் இருங்கள்; இவைகளெல்லாம் நான் வெறுக்கிற காரியங்களே என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

உனது அயலார்களைத் துன்புறுத்த ரகசியத் திட்டங்களைப் போடவேண்டாம். பொய்யான வாக்குறுதிகளை செய்யவேண்டாம். நீங்கள் அவற்றைச் செய்து மகிழ்ச்சி அடையக்கூடாது. ஏனென்றால், நான் அவற்றை வெறுக்கிறேன்” கர்த்தர் இவற்றைக் கூறினார்.
