இவனை அவர் நோக்கி: நீ ஓடி இந்த வாலிபனிடத்தில் சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால், எருசலேம் தன் நடுவிலே கூடும் மனுஷரின் திரளினாலும் மிருகஜீவன்களின் திரளினாலும் மதிலில்லாத பட்டணங்கள்போல் வாசஸ்தலமாகும்.

அவன் அவனிடம், “ஓடிப்போய் அந்த இளைஞனிடம் எருசலேமானது அளக்க முடியாத வகையில் பெரிதாக உள்ளது என்று சொல். அவனிடம் இவற்றைச் சொல்! “‘எருசலேம் சுவர்களில்லாத நகரமாகும். ஏனென்றால் அங்கே ஏராளமான ஜனங்களும் மிருகங்களும் வாழ்ந்துக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றன.’

young man, הַנַּ֥עַר naʿar na-AR
this הַלָּ֖ז hallāz ha-LAHZ
saying, לֵאמֹ֑ר ʾāmar ah-MAHR
towns without walls פְּרָזוֹת֙ pĕrāzâ peh-ra-ZA
shall be inhabited תֵּשֵׁ֣ב yāšab ya-SHAHV
Jerusalem יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם yĕrûšālaim yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM
for the multitude מֵרֹ֥ב rōb rove
of men אָדָ֛ם ʾādām ah-DAHM
and cattle וּבְהֵמָ֖ה bĕhēmâ beh-hay-MA
