Psalm 20 in Tamil

1 ஆபத்துநாளிலே கர்த்தர் உமது ஜெபத்தைக் கேட்பாராக; யாக்கோபின் தேவனுடைய நாமம் உமக்கு உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமாவதாக. The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;

2 அவர் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திலிருந்து உமக்கு ஒத்தாசையனுப்பி சீயோனிலிருந்து உம்மை ஆதரிப்பாராக. Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;

3 நீர் செலுத்தும் காணிக்கைகளையெல்லாம் அவர் நினைத்து, உமது சர்வாங்க தகனபலியைப் பிரியமாய் ஏற்றுக்கொள்வாராக. (சேலா.) Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.

4 அவர் உமது மனவிருப்பத்தின்படி உமக்குத் தந்தருளி, உமது ஆலோசனைகளையெல்லாம் நிறைவேற்றுவாராக. Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.

5 நாங்கள் உமது இரட்சிப்பினால் மகிழ்ந்து, எங்கள் தேவனுடைய நாமத்திலே கொடியேற்றுவோம்; உமது வேண்டுதல்களையெல்லாம் கர்த்தர் நிறைவேற்றுவாராக. We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.

6 கர்த்தர் தாம் அபிஷேகம்பண்ணினவரை இரட்சிக்கிறார் என்பதை இப்பொழுது அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்; தமது வலதுகரம் செய்யும் இரட்சிப்பின் வல்லமைகளைக் காண்பித்து, தமது பரிசுத்த வானத்திலிருந்து அவருடைய ஜெபத்தைக் கேட்பார். Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.

7 சிலர் இரதங்களைக்குறித்தும், சிலர் குதிரைகளைக் குறித்தும் மேன்மைபாராட்டுகிறார்கள்; நாங்களோ எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தைக்குறித்தே மேன்மைபாராட்டுவோம். Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

8 அவர்கள் முறிந்து விழுந்தார்கள்; நாங்களோ எழுந்து நிமிர்ந்து நிற்கிறோம். They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.

9 கர்த்தாவே, இரட்சியும்; நாங்கள் கூப்பிடுகிற நாளிலே ராஜா எங்களுக்குச் செவிகொடுப்பாராக. Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.

1 Aapaththunaalilae Karththar umathu jepaththaik kaetpaaraaka; yaakkopin thaevanutaiya naamam umakku uyarntha ataikkalamaavathaaka. The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;

2 Avar Parisuththa sthalaththilirunthu umakku oththaasaiyanuppi seeyonilirunthu ummai aatharippaaraaka. Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;

3 Neer seluththum kaannikkaikalaiyellaam avar ninaiththu, umathu sarvaanga thakanapaliyaip piriyamaay aettaுkkolvaaraaka. (selaa.) Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.

4 Avar umathu manaviruppaththinpati umakkuth thantharuli, umathu aalosanaikalaiyellaam niraivaettaுvaaraaka. Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.

5 Naangal umathu iratchippinaal makilnthu, engal thaevanutaiya naamaththilae kotiyaettaுvom; umathu vaennduthalkalaiyellaam Karththar niraivaettaுvaaraaka. We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.

6 Karththar thaam apishaekampannnninavarai iratchikkiraar enpathai ippoluthu arinthirukkiraேn; thamathu valathukaram seyyum iratchippin vallamaikalaik kaannpiththu, thamathu Parisuththa vaanaththilirunthu avarutaiya jepaththaik kaetpaar. Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.

7 Silar irathangalaikkuriththum, silar kuthiraikalaik kuriththum maenmaipaaraattukiraarkal; naangalo engal thaevanaakiya karththarutaiya naamaththaikkuriththae maenmaipaaraattuvom. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

8 Avarkal murinthu vilunthaarkal; naangalo elunthu nimirnthu nirkirom. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.

9 Karththaavae, iratchiyum; naangal kooppidukira naalilae raajaa engalukkuch sevikoduppaaraaka. Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.
