Leviticus 11 in Tamil

1 கர்த்தர் மோசேயையும் ஆரோனையும் நோக்கி: And the LORD spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,

2 நீங்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால், Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.

3 மிருகங்களில் விரிகுளம்புள்ளதாயிருந்து, குளம்புகள் இரண்டாகப் பிரிந்திருக்கிறதும் அசைபோடுகிறதுமானவைகளையெல்லாம் நீங்கள் புசிக்கலாம். Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is cloven-footed, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.

4 ஆனாலும் அசைபோடுகிறதும் விரிகுளம்புள்ளதுமானவைகளில் ஒட்டகமானது அசைபோடுகிறதாயிருந்தாலும், அதற்கு விரிகுளம்பில்லாதபடியால், அது உங்களுக்கு அசுத்தமாயிருக்கும். Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.

7 பன்றியின் குளம்பு விரிகுளம்பும் இரண்டாகப் பிரிந்ததுமாயிருந்தும், அது அசைபோடாது; அது உங்களுக்கு அசுத்தமாயிருக்கும். And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be cloven-footed, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.

8 இவைகளின் மாம்சத்தைப் புசிக்கவும், இவைகளின் உடல்களைத் தொடவும் வேண்டாம்; இவைகள் உங்களுக்குத் தீட்டாயிருக்கக்கடவது. Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcass shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.

9 ஜலத்திலிருக்கிறவைகளில் நீங்கள் புசிக்கத்தக்கது யாதெனில்; கடல்களும் ஆறுகளுமாகிய தண்ணீர்களிலே சிறகும் செதிளும் உள்ளவைகளையெல்லாம் நீங்கள் புசிக்கலாம். These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.

10 ஆனாலும், கடல்களும் ஆறுகளுமாகிய தண்ணீர்களில் நீந்துகிறதும் வாழ்கிறதுமான பிராணிகளில் சிறகும் செதிளும் இல்லாதவைகள் யாவும் உங்களுக்கு அருவருப்பாயிருப்பதாக. And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:

11 அவைகள் உங்களுக்கு அருவருப்பாயிருக்கக்கடவது; அவைகளின் மாம்சத்தைப் புசியாதிருந்து, அவைகளின் உடல்களை அருவருப்பீர்களாக. They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcasses in abomination.

12 தண்ணீர்களிலே சிறகும் செதிளும் இல்லாத யாவும் உங்களுக்கு அருவருப்பாயிருக்கக்கடவது. Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.

13 பறவைகளில் நீங்கள் புசியாமல் அருவருக்கவேண்டியவைகள் யாதெனில்: கழுகும், கருடனும், கடலுராஞ்சியும், And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,

14 பருந்தும் சகலவித வல்லுூறும், And the vulture, and the kite after his kind;

15 சகலவித காகங்களும், Every raven after his kind;

16 தீக்குருவியும், கூகையும், செம்புகமும், சகலவித டேகையும், And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckoo, and the hawk after his kind,

17 ஆந்தையும், நீர்க்காகமும், கோட்டானும், And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,

18 நாரையும், கூழக்கடாவும், குருகும், And the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle,

19 கொக்கும், சகலவித ராஜாளியும், புழுக்கொத்தியும், வெளவாலும் ஆகிய இவைகளே. And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.

20 பறக்கிறவைகளில் நாலுகாலால் நடமாடுகிற ஊரும் பிராணிகள் யாவும் உங்களுக்கு அருவருப்பாயிருப்பதாக. All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you.

21 ஆகிலும் பறக்கிறவைகளில் நாலுகாலால் நடமாடுகிற யாவிலும், நீங்கள் புசிக்கத்தக்கது யாதெனில் தரையிலே தத்துகிறதற்குக் கால்களுக்குமேல் தொடைகள் உண்டாயிருக்கிறவைகளிலே, Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth;

22 வெட்டுக்கிளி ஜாதியாயிருக்கிறதையும், சோலையாம் என்னும் கிளிஜாதியாயிருக்கிறதையும், அர்கொல் என்னும் கிளிஜாதியாயிருக்கிறதையும், ஆகாபு என்னும் கிளிஜாதியாயிருக்கிறதையும் நீங்கள் புசிக்கலாம். Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.

23 பறக்கிறவைகளில் நாலுகாலால் நடமாடுகிற மற்ற யாவும் உங்களுக்கு அருவருப்பாயிருப்பதாக. But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination unto you.

24 அவைகளாலே தீட்டுப்படுவீர்கள்; அவைகளின் உடலைத் தொடுகிறவன் எவனும் சாயங்காலமட்டும் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பான். And for these ye shall be unclean: whosoever toucheth the carcass of them shall be unclean until the even.

25 அவைகளின் உடலைத் சுமந்தவன் எவனும் தன் வஸ்திரங்களைத் தோய்க்கக்கடவன்; அவன் சாயங்காலம்மட்டும் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பான். And whosoever beareth ought of the carcass of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.

26 விரிநகங்களுள்ளவைகளாயிருந்தும், இருபிளவான குளம்பில்லாமலும் அசைபோடாமலும் இருக்கிற மிருகங்கள் யாவும் உங்களுக்கு அசுத்தமாயிருப்பதாக; அவைகளைத் தொடுகிறவன் எவனும் தீட்டுப்படுவான். The carcasses of every beast which divideth the hoof, and is not cloven-footed, nor cheweth the cud, are unclean unto you: every one that toucheth them shall be unclean.

27 நாலுகாலால் நடக்கிற சகல ஜீவன்களிலும் தங்கள் உள்ளங்கால்களை ஊன்றி நடக்கிற யாவும் உங்களுக்கு அசுத்தமாயிருப்பதாக; அவைகளின் உடலைத் தொடுகிறவன் எவனும் சாயங்காலமட்டும் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பான். And whatsoever goeth upon his paws, among all manner of beasts that go on all four, those are unclean unto you: whoso toucheth their carcass shall be unclean until the even.

28 அவைகளின் உடலைச் சுமந்தவன் தன் வஸ்திரங்களைத் தோய்க்கக்கடவன்; அவன் சாயங்காலம்மட்டும் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பான்; இவைகள் உங்களுக்குத் தீட்டாயிருக்கக்கடவது. And he that beareth the carcass of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: they are unclean unto you.

29 தரையில் ஊருகிற பிராணிகளில் உங்களுக்கு அசுத்தமானவைகள் எவையெனில் பெருச்சாளியும், எலியும், சகலவிதமான ஆமையும், These also shall be unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth; the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after his kind,

30 உடும்பும், அழுங்கும், ஓணானும், பல்லியும், பச்சோந்தியும் ஆகிய இவைகளே. And the ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the mole.

31 சகல ஊரும் பிராணிகளிலும் இவைகள் உங்களுக்குத் தீட்டாயிருக்கக்கடவது; அவைகளில் செத்ததைத் தொடுகிறவன் எவனும் சாயங்காலமட்டும் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பான். These are unclean to you among all that creep: whosoever doth touch them, when they be dead, shall be unclean until the even.

32 அவைகளில் செத்தது ஒன்று யாதொன்றின்மேல் விழுந்தால் அது தீட்டுப்பட்டிருக்கும்; அது மரப்பாத்திரமானாலும், வஸ்திரமானாலும், தோலானாலும், பையானாலும், வேலை செய்கிறதற்கேற்ற ஆயுதமானாலும் சாயங்காலம்மட்டும் தீட்டாயிருக்கும்; அது தண்ணீரில் போடப்படவேண்டும், அப்பொழுது சுத்தமாகும். And upon whatsoever any of them, when they are dead, doth fall, it shall be unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel it be, wherein any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the even; so it shall be cleansed.

33 அவைகளில் ஒன்று மண்பாண்டத்துக்குள் விழுந்தால், அதற்குள் இருக்கிறவை யாவும் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருக்கும்; அதை உடைத்துப்போடவேண்டும். And every earthen vessel, whereinto any of them falleth, whatsoever is in it shall be unclean; and ye shall break it.

34 புசிக்கத்தக்க போஜனபதார்த்தத்தின்மேல் அந்தத் தண்ணீர் பட்டால், அது தீட்டாகும்; குடிக்கத்தக்க எந்தப்பானமும் அப்படிப்பட்ட பாத்திரத்தினால் தீட்டுப்படும். Of all meat which may be eaten, that on which such water cometh shall be unclean: and all drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean.

35 அவைகளின் உடலில் யாதொன்று எதின்மேல் விழுதோ, அதுவும் தீட்டுப்படும்; அடுப்பானாலும் மண்தொட்டியானாலும் தகர்க்கப்படுவதாக; அவைகள் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருக்கும்; ஆகையால், அவைகள் உங்களுக்குத் தீட்டாயிருக்கக்கடவது. And every thing whereupon any part of their carcass falleth shall be unclean; whether it be oven, or ranges for pots, they shall be broken down: for they are unclean and shall be unclean unto you.

36 ஆனாலும், நீரூற்றும் மிகுந்த ஜலம் உண்டாகிய கிணறும் சுத்தமாயிருக்கும்; அவைகளிலுள்ள உடலைத் தொடுகிறவனோ தீட்டுப்படுவான். Nevertheless a fountain or pit, wherein there is plenty of water, shall be clean: but that which toucheth their carcass shall be unclean.

37 மேற்சொல்லியவைகளின் உடலில் யாதொன்று விதைத்தானியத்தின்மேல் விழுந்தால், அது தீட்டுப்படாது. And if any part of their carcass fall upon any sowing seed which is to be sown, it shall be clean.

38 அந்த உடலில் யாதொன்று தண்ணீர் வார்க்கப்பட்டிருக்கிற விதையின்மேல் விழுந்ததானால், அது உங்களுக்குத் தீட்டாயிருக்கக்கடவது. But if any water be put upon the seed, and any part of their carcass fall thereon, it shall be unclean unto you.

39 உங்களுக்கு ஆகாரத்துக்கான ஒரு மிருகம் செத்தால், அதின் உடலைத் தொடுகிறவன் சாயங்காலம்மட்டும் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பான். And if any beast, of which ye may eat, die; he that toucheth the carcass thereof shall be unclean until the even.

40 அதின் மாம்சத்தைப் புசித்தவன் தன் வஸ்திரங்களைத் தோய்க்கக்கடவன்; அவன் சாயங்காலம்மட்டும் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பான்; அதின் உடலை எடுத்துப் போனவனும் தன் வஸ்திரங்களைத் தோய்க்கக்கடவன்; அவனும் சாயங்காலம்மட்டும் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பான். And he that eateth of the carcass of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: he also that beareth the carcass of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.

41 தரையில் ஊருகிற பிராணிகளெல்லாம் உங்களுக்கு அருவருப்பாயிருக்கக்கடவது; அவை புசிக்கப்படலாகாது. And every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth shall be an abomination; it shall not be eaten.

42 தரையில் ஊருகிற சகல பிராணிகளிலும், வயிற்றினால் நகருகிறவைகளையும், நாலுகாலால் நடமாடுகிறவைகளையும், அநேகங் கால்களுள்ளவைகளையும் புசியாதிருப்பீர்களாக; அவைகள் அருவருப்பானவைகள். Whatsoever goeth upon the belly, and whatsoever goeth upon all four, or whatsoever hath more feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not eat; for they are an abomination.

43 ஊருகிற எந்தப் பிராணிகளிலும் உங்களை அருவருப்பாக்கிக்கொள்ளாமலும், அவைகளால் தீட்டுப்படாமலும் இருப்பீர்களாக; அவைகளாலே நீங்கள் தீட்டுப்படுவீர்கள். Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled thereby.

44 நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர், நான் பரிசுத்தர்; ஆகையால் தரையில் ஊருகிற எந்தப் பிராணிகளிலும் உங்களைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தாமல், உங்களைப் பரிசுத்தமாக்கிக்கொண்டு, பரிசுத்தராயிருப்பீர்களாக. For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

45 நான் உங்கள் தேவனாயிருக்கும்படி உங்களை எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து வரப்பண்ணின கர்த்தர், நான் பரிசுத்தர்; ஆகையால், நீங்களும் பரிசுத்தராயிருப்பீர்களாக. For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.

46 சுத்தமானதற்கும் அசுத்தமானதற்கும், புசிக்கத்தக்க ஜந்துக்களுக்கும் புசிக்கத்தகாத ஜந்துக்களுக்கும் வித்தியாசம்பண்ணும்பொருட்டு, This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth:

47 மிருகத்துக்கும் பறவைகளுக்கும், தண்ணீர்களில் நீந்துகிற சகல ஜீவஜந்துக்களுக்கும், பூமியின்மேல் ஊருகிற சகல பிராணிகளுக்கும் அடுத்த பிரமாணம் இதுவே என்று சொல்லுங்கள் என்றார். To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten.

1 Karththar Mosesyaiyum aaronaiyum Nnokki: And the LORD spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,

2 Neengal Israel puththirarotae sollavaenntiyathu ennavental, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.

3 Mirukangalil virikulampullathaayirunthu, kulampukal iranndaakap pirinthirukkirathum asaipodukirathumaanavaikalaiyellaam neengal pusikkalaam. Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is cloven-footed, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.

4 Aanaalum asaipodukirathum virikulampullathumaanavaikalil ottakamaanathu asaipodukirathaayirunthaalum, atharku virikulampillaathapatiyaal, athu ungalukku asuththamaayirukkum. Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.

5 Kulimusalaanathu asaipodukirathaayirunthaalum, atharku virikulampillai; athu ungalukku asuththamaayirukkum. And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.

6 Muyalaanathu asaipodukirathaayirunthum, atharku virikulampillai; athu ungalukku asuththamaayirukkum. And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.

7 Pantiyin kulampu virikulampum iranndaakap pirinthathumaayirunthum, athu asaipodaathu; athu ungalukku asuththamaayirukkum. And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be cloven-footed, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.

8 Ivaikalin maamsaththaip pusikkavum, ivaikalin udalkalaith thodavum vaenndaam; ivaikal ungalukkuth theettayirukkakkadavathu. Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcass shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.

9 Jalaththilirukkiravaikalil neengal pusikkaththakkathu yaathenil; kadalkalum aaraுkalumaakiya thannnneerkalilae sirakum sethilum ullavaikalaiyellaam neengal pusikkalaam. These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.

10 Aanaalum, kadalkalum aaraுkalumaakiya thannnneerkalil neenthukirathum vaalkirathumaana piraannikalil sirakum sethilum illaathavaikal yaavum ungalukku aruvaruppaayiruppathaaka. And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:

11 Avaikal ungalukku aruvaruppaayirukkakkadavathu; avaikalin maamsaththaip pusiyaathirunthu, avaikalin udalkalai aruvaruppeerkalaaka. They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcasses in abomination.

12 Thannnneerkalilae sirakum sethilum illaatha yaavum ungalukku aruvaruppaayirukkakkadavathu. Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.

13 Paravaikalil neengal pusiyaamal aruvarukkavaenntiyavaikal yaathenil: kalukum, karudanum, kadaluraanjiyum, And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,

14 Parunthum sakalavitha valluூraுm, And the vulture, and the kite after his kind;

15 Sakalavitha kaakangalum, Every raven after his kind;

16 Theekkuruviyum, kookaiyum, sempukamum, sakalavitha taekaiyum, And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckoo, and the hawk after his kind,

17 Aanthaiyum, neerkkaakamum, kottanum, And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,

18 Naaraiyum, koolakkadaavum, kurukum, And the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle,

19 Kokkum, sakalavitha raajaaliyum, pulukkoththiyum, velavaalum aakiya ivaikalae. And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.

20 Parakkiravaikalil naalukaalaal nadamaadukira oorum piraannikal yaavum ungalukku aruvaruppaayiruppathaaka. All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you.

21 Aakilum parakkiravaikalil naalukaalaal nadamaadukira yaavilum, neengal pusikkaththakkathu yaathenil tharaiyilae thaththukiratharkuk kaalkalukkumael thotaikal unndaayirukkiravaikalilae, Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth;

22 Vettukkili jaathiyaayirukkirathaiyum, solaiyaam ennum kilijaathiyaayirukkirathaiyum, arkol ennum kilijaathiyaayirukkirathaiyum, aakaapu ennum kilijaathiyaayirukkirathaiyum neengal pusikkalaam. Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.

23 Parakkiravaikalil naalukaalaal nadamaadukira matta yaavum ungalukku aruvaruppaayiruppathaaka. But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination unto you.

24 Avaikalaalae theettuppaduveerkal; avaikalin udalaith thodukiravan evanum saayangaalamattum theettuppattiruppaan. And for these ye shall be unclean: whosoever toucheth the carcass of them shall be unclean until the even.

25 Avaikalin udalaith sumanthavan evanum than vasthirangalaith thoykkakkadavan; avan saayangaalammattum theettuppattiruppaan. And whosoever beareth ought of the carcass of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.

26 Virinakangalullavaikalaayirunthum, irupilavaana kulampillaamalum asaipodaamalum irukkira mirukangal yaavum ungalukku asuththamaayiruppathaaka; avaikalaith thodukiravan evanum theettuppaduvaan. The carcasses of every beast which divideth the hoof, and is not cloven-footed, nor cheweth the cud, are unclean unto you: every one that toucheth them shall be unclean.

27 Naalukaalaal nadakkira sakala jeevankalilum thangal ullangaalkalai oonti nadakkira yaavum ungalukku asuththamaayiruppathaaka; avaikalin udalaith thodukiravan evanum saayangaalamattum theettuppattiruppaan. And whatsoever goeth upon his paws, among all manner of beasts that go on all four, those are unclean unto you: whoso toucheth their carcass shall be unclean until the even.

28 Avaikalin udalaich sumanthavan than vasthirangalaith thoykkakkadavan; avan saayangaalammattum theettuppattiruppaan; ivaikal ungalukkuth theettayirukkakkadavathu. And he that beareth the carcass of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: they are unclean unto you.

29 Tharaiyil oorukira piraannikalil ungalukku asuththamaanavaikal evaiyenil peruchchaாliyum, eliyum, sakalavithamaana aamaiyum, These also shall be unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth; the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after his kind,

30 Udumpum, alungum, onnaanum, palliyum, pachchonthiyum aakiya ivaikalae. And the ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the mole.

31 Sakala oorum piraannikalilum ivaikal ungalukkuth theettayirukkakkadavathu; avaikalil seththathaith thodukiravan evanum saayangaalamattum theettuppattiruppaan. These are unclean to you among all that creep: whosoever doth touch them, when they be dead, shall be unclean until the even.

32 Avaikalil seththathu ontu yaathontinmael vilunthaal athu theettuppattirukkum; athu marappaaththiramaanaalum, vasthiramaanaalum, tholaanaalum, paiyaanaalum, vaelai seykiratharkaetta aayuthamaanaalum saayangaalammattum theettayirukkum; athu thannnneeril podappadavaenndum, appoluthu suththamaakum. And upon whatsoever any of them, when they are dead, doth fall, it shall be unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel it be, wherein any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the even; so it shall be cleansed.

33 Avaikalil ontu mannpaanndaththukkul vilunthaal, atharkul irukkiravai yaavum theettuppattirukkum; athai utaiththuppodavaenndum. And every earthen vessel, whereinto any of them falleth, whatsoever is in it shall be unclean; and ye shall break it.

34 Pusikkaththakka pojanapathaarththaththinmael anthath thannnneer pattal, athu theettakum; kutikkaththakka enthappaanamum appatippatta paaththiraththinaal theettuppadum. Of all meat which may be eaten, that on which such water cometh shall be unclean: and all drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean.

35 Avaikalin udalil yaathontu ethinmael vilutho, athuvum theettuppadum; aduppaanaalum mannthottiyaanaalum thakarkkappaduvathaaka; avaikal theettuppattirukkum; aakaiyaal, avaikal ungalukkuth theettayirukkakkadavathu. And every thing whereupon any part of their carcass falleth shall be unclean; whether it be oven, or ranges for pots, they shall be broken down: for they are unclean and shall be unclean unto you.

36 Aanaalum, neeroottaுm mikuntha jalam unndaakiya kinaraுm suththamaayirukkum; avaikalilulla udalaith thodukiravano theettuppaduvaan. Nevertheless a fountain or pit, wherein there is plenty of water, shall be clean: but that which toucheth their carcass shall be unclean.

37 Maersolliyavaikalin udalil yaathontu vithaiththaaniyaththinmael vilunthaal, athu theettuppadaathu. And if any part of their carcass fall upon any sowing seed which is to be sown, it shall be clean.

38 Antha udalil yaathontu thannnneer vaarkkappattirukkira vithaiyinmael vilunthathaanaal, athu ungalukkuth theettayirukkakkadavathu. But if any water be put upon the seed, and any part of their carcass fall thereon, it shall be unclean unto you.

39 Ungalukku aakaaraththukkaana oru mirukam seththaal, athin udalaith thodukiravan saayangaalammattum theettuppattiruppaan. And if any beast, of which ye may eat, die; he that toucheth the carcass thereof shall be unclean until the even.

40 Athin maamsaththaip pusiththavan than vasthirangalaith thoykkakkadavan; avan saayangaalammattum theettuppattiruppaan; athin udalai eduththup ponavanum than vasthirangalaith thoykkakkadavan; avanum saayangaalammattum theettuppattiruppaan. And he that eateth of the carcass of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: he also that beareth the carcass of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.

41 Tharaiyil oorukira piraannikalellaam ungalukku aruvaruppaayirukkakkadavathu; avai pusikkappadalaakaathu. And every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth shall be an abomination; it shall not be eaten.

42 Tharaiyil oorukira sakala piraannikalilum, vayittinaal nakarukiravaikalaiyum, naalukaalaal nadamaadukiravaikalaiyum, anaekang kaalkalullavaikalaiyum pusiyaathiruppeerkalaaka; avaikal aruvaruppaanavaikal. Whatsoever goeth upon the belly, and whatsoever goeth upon all four, or whatsoever hath more feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not eat; for they are an abomination.

43 Oorukira enthap piraannikalilum ungalai aruvaruppaakkikkollaamalum, avaikalaal theettuppadaamalum iruppeerkalaaka; avaikalaalae neengal theettuppaduveerkal. Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled thereby.

44 Naan ungal thaevanaakiya Karththar, naan Parisuththar; aakaiyaal tharaiyil oorukira enthap piraannikalilum ungalaith theettuppaduththaamal, ungalaip Parisuththamaakkikkonndu, Parisuththaraayiruppeerkalaaka. For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

45 Naan ungal thaevanaayirukkumpati ungalai ekipthu thaesaththilirunthu varappannnnina Karththar, naan Parisuththar; aakaiyaal, neengalum Parisuththaraayiruppeerkalaaka. For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.

46 Suththamaanatharkum asuththamaanatharkum, pusikkaththakka janthukkalukkum pusikkaththakaatha janthukkalukkum viththiyaasampannnumporuttu, This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth:

47 Mirukaththukkum paravaikalukkum, thannnneerkalil neenthukira sakala jeevajanthukkalukkum, poomiyinmael oorukira sakala piraannikalukkum aduththa piramaanam ithuvae entu sollungal entar. To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten.
