ஆரோனின் குமாரனாகிய எலெயாசாரின் மகன் பினெகாஸ் அந்நாட்களில் அவருடைய சந்நிதியில் நின்றான்; எங்கள் சகோதரராகிய பென்யமீன் புத்திரரோடே பின்னும் யுத்தம்பண்ணப் புறப்படலாமா புறப்படலாகாதா என்று அவர்கள் விசாரித்தார்கள்; அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர்: போங்கள்; நாளைக்கு அவர்களை உங்கள் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன் என்றார்.

ஆரோனின் மகனான எலெயாசாரின் மகன் பினெகாஸ் அந்த நாட்களில் பெட்டியின் முன்பாகப் பணிசெய்துகொண்டிருந்தான்; எங்கள் சகோதரர்களாகிய பென்யமீன் மக்களோடு மறுபடியும் யுத்தம்செய்யப் புறப்படலாமா? வேண்டாமா? என்று அவர்கள் விசாரித்தார்கள்; அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர்: போங்கள்; நாளைக்கு அவர்களை உங்களுடைய கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன் என்றார்.
