அதற்கு அவன்: நான் உண்டுபண்ணின என்னுடைய தெய்வங்களையும் அந்த ஆசாரியனையுங்கூட நீங்கள் கொண்டுபோகிறீர்களே; இனி எனக்கு என்ன இருக்கிறது; நீ கூப்பிடுகிற காரியம் என்ன என்று நீங்கள் என்னிடத்தில் எப்படிக் கேட்கலாம் என்றான்.

அதற்கு அவன்: நான் உண்டாக்கின என்னுடைய தெய்வங்களையும் அந்த ஆசாரியனையுங்கூட நீங்கள் கொண்டு போகிறீர்களே; இனி எனக்கு என்ன இருக்கிறது; நீ கூப்பிடுகிற காரியம் என்ன என்று நீங்கள் என்னிடத்தில் எப்படிக் கேட்கலாம் என்றான்.

மீகா, “தாணின் மனிதர்களாகிய நீங்கள் எனது விக்கிரகங்களை எடுத்து வந்தீர்கள். அவற்றை எனக்காகச் செய்தேன். எனக்காக பூஜை செய்பவனையும் அழைத்துப் போகிறீர்கள். இப்போது என்னிடம் என்ன இருக்கிறது? ‘உன் பிரச்சனை என்ன?’ என்று எப்படி என்னைக் கேட்கிறீர்கள்?” என்றான்.

Ye have taken away לְקַחְתֶּ֧ם lāqaḥ la-KAHK
וְֽאֶת ʾēt ate
and the priest, הַכֹּהֵ֛ן kōhēn koh-HANE
and ye are gone away: וַתֵּֽלְכ֖וּ hālak ha-LAHK
