அப்பொழுது வாசல்காக்கிற வேலைக்காரி பேதுருவை நோக்கி: நீயும் அந்த மனுஷனுடைய சீஷரில் ஒருவனல்லவா என்றாள். அவன் நான் அல்ல என்றான்.

அப்பொழுது வாசல்காக்கிற வேலைக்காரி பேதுருவைப் பார்த்து: நீயும் அந்த மனிதனுடைய சீடர்களில் ஒருவனல்லவா என்றாள். அவன்: நான் இல்லை என்றான்.

வாசலுக்குக் காவலாக இருந்த அந்தப் பெண் பேதுருவிடம் “நீயும் இந்த மனிதனின் சீஷர்களுள் ஒருவன் தானே?” என்று கேட்டாள். அதற்குப் பேதுரு “இல்லை. நான் அல்ல” என்றான்.

Appoluthu vaasalkaakkira vaelaikkaari paethuruvai Nnokki: neeyum antha manushanutaiya seesharil oruvanallavaa ental. Avan naan alla entan.
