எரேமியாவிற்கு கர்த்தரிடமிருந்து வார்த்தை வந்தது. யூதாவின் அரசனான சிதேக்கியா பஸ்கூர் என்ற மனிதனையும், செப்பனியா என்ற ஆசாரியனையும் எரேமியாவிடம் அனுப்பியபோது இந்த வார்த்தை வந்தது. பஸ்கூர் மல்கியா என்ற பெயருள்ளவனின் மகன். செப்பனியா, மாசெயா என்ற பெயருள்ளவனின் மகன். பஸ்கூரும் செப்பனியாவும் எரேமியாவிற்கு வார்த்தையைக் கொண்டுவந்தனர்.
