அந்நாளில், சமுத்திரம் இரைவதுபோல் அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாய் இரைவார்கள்; அப்பொழுது தேசத்தைப்பார்த்தால், இதோ, அந்தகாரமும் வியாகுலமும் உண்டு; அதின் மேகங்களினால் வெளிச்சம் இருண்டுபோம்.

they shall roar	וְיִנְהֹ֥ם	nāham	na-HAHM
against	עָלָ֛יו	ʿal	al
day	בַּיּ֥וֹם	yôm	yome
And in that	הַה֖וּא	hûʾ	hoo
them like the roaring	כְּנַהֲמַת	nĕhāmâ	neh-ha-MA
of the sea:	יָ֑ם	yām	yahm
and if look	וְנִבַּ֤ט	nābaṭ	na-VAHT
unto the land,	לָאָ֙רֶץ֙	ʾereṣ	eh-RETS
behold	וְהִנֵּה	hinnē	hee-NAY
darkness	חֹ֔שֶׁךְ	ḥōšek	hoh-SHEK
sorrow,	צַ֣ר	ṣar	tsahr
and the light	וָא֔וֹר	ʾôr	ore
is darkened	חָשַׁ֖ךְ	ḥāšak	ha-SHAHK
