சகலத்தையும் அவனுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்தினார் என்கிற விஷயத்தில், அவர் அவனுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்தாத பொருளொன்றுமில்லை; அப்படியிருந்தும், இன்னும் அவனுக்குச் சகலமும் கீழ்ப்பட்டிருக்கக் காணோம்.

எல்லாவற்றையும் அவனுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்தினார் என்கிற காரியத்தில், அவர் அவனுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்தாத பொருள் ஒன்றும் இல்லை; ஆனால், இன்னும் எல்லாம் அவனுக்கு கீழ்ப்பட்டிருப்பதைக் காணமுடியவில்லை.

நீர் எல்லாவற்றையும் அவரது கட்டுப்பாட்டுக்குள் கொண்டு வந்தீர்” என்று எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளது. இவ்வாறு அனைத்தையும் அவரது கட்டுப்பாட்டுக்குள் தேவன் கொண்டு வந்துவிட்டதால் அவருக்குக் கட்டுப்படாதது எதுவுமில்லை எனலாம். ஆனால் அவர் அனைத்தையும் ஆள்வதை நாம் இன்னும் பார்க்கவில்லை.
