அது புறஜாதிகளைப்பார்க்கிலும் என் நியாயங்களையும் தன்னைச் சுற்றிலும் இருக்கிற தேசங்களைப்பார்க்கிலும் என் கட்டளைகளையும் அக்கிரமமாக மாற்றிப்போட்டது; அவர்கள் என் நியாயங்களை வெறுத்து, என் கட்டளைகளில் நடவாமற் போனார்கள்.

அது அந்நியஜாதிகளைவிட என்னுடைய நியாயங்களையும், தன்னைச் சுற்றிலும் இருக்கிற தேசங்களைவிட என்னுடைய கட்டளைகளையும் அக்கிரமமாக மாற்றிப்போட்டது; அவர்கள் என்னுடைய நியாயங்களை வெறுத்து, என்னுடைய கட்டளைகளில் நடக்காமல்போனார்கள்.

எருசலேம் ஜனங்கள் எனது கட்டளைகளுக்கு எதிராகக் கலகம் செய்தனர். அவர்கள் மற்ற நாடுகளைவிட மோசமாக இருக்கின்றனர்! அவர்களைச் சுற்றியுள்ள நாட்டிலுள்ளவர்களைவிட அவர்கள் எனது பெரும்பாலான சட்டங்களை மீறிவிட்டனர். எனது கட்டளைகளைக் கேட்கவும், சட்டங்களுக்கு அடிபணியவும் மறுத்துவிட்டனர்.”
