Deuteronomy 5:1-21 in Tamil in Tamil

1 மோசே இஸ்ரவேலர் எல்லாரையும் அழைப்பித்து, அவர்களை நோக்கி: இஸ்ரவேலரே, நான் இன்று உங்கள் காதுகள் கேட்கச் சொல்லும் கட்டளைகளையும் நியாயங்களையும் கேளுங்கள்; நீங்கள் அவைகளின்படியே செய்யும்படிக்கு அவைகளைக் கற்றுக் கைக்கொள்ளக்கடவீர்கள். And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them.

2 நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் ஓரேபிலே நம்மோடே உடன்படிக்கைபண்ணினார். The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.

3 அந்த உடன்படிக்கையைக் கர்த்தர் நம்முடைய பிதாக்களுடன் பண்ணாமல், இந்நாளில் இங்கே உயிரோடிருக்கிற நம்மெல்லாரோடும் பண்ணினார். The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.

4 கர்த்தர் மலையிலே அக்கினியின் நடுவிலிருந்து முகமுகமாய் உங்களோடே பேசினார். The LORD talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire,

5 கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையை உங்களுக்கு அறிவிக்கும்படி, அக்காலத்திலே நான் கர்த்தருக்கும் உங்களுக்கும் நடுவாக நின்றேன்; நீங்கள் அக்கினிக்குப் பயந்து மலையில் ஏறாமல் இருந்தீர்கள்; அப்பொழுது அவர் சொன்னது என்னவென்றால்: (I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to show you the word of the LORD: for ye were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying,

6 உன்னை அடிமைத்தன வீடாகிய எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணின உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நானே. I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

7 என்னையன்றி உனக்கு வேறே தேவர்கள் உண்டாயிருக்கவேண்டாம். Thou shalt have none other gods before me.

8 மேலே வானத்திலும், கீழே பூமியிலும், பூமியின்கீழ்த் தண்ணீரிலும் உண்டாயிருக்கிறவைகளுக்கு ஒப்பான ஒரு சுரூபத்தையாகிலும் யாதொரு விக்கிரகத்தையாகிலும் நீ உனக்கு உண்டாக்கவேண்டாம். Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:

9 நீ அவைகளை நமஸ்கரிக்கவும் சேவிக்கவும் வேண்டாம்; உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தராயிருக்கிற நான் எரிச்சலுள்ள தேவனாயிருந்து, என்னைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களைக்குறித்துப் பிதாக்களுடைய அக்கிரமத்தைப் பிள்ளைகளிடத்தில் மூன்றாம் நான்காம் தலைமுறைமட்டும் விசாரிக்கிறவராயிருக்கிறேன். Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,

10 என்னிடத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்து, என் கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களுக்கோ ஆயிரம் தலைமுறைமட்டும் இரக்கஞ்செய்கிறவராயிருக்கிறேன். And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.

11 உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தை வீணிலே வழங்காதிருப்பாயாக; கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய நாமத்தை வீணிலே வழங்குகிறவனைத் தண்டியாமல் விடார். Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

12 உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே, ஓய்வுநாளைப் பரிசுத்தமாய் ஆசரிப்பாயாக. Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee.

13 ஆறுநாளும் நீ வேலைசெய்து, உன் கிரியைகளையெல்லாம் நடப்பிப்பாயாக. Six days thou shalt labor, and do all thy work:

14 ஏழாம் நாளோ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய ஓய்வுநாள்; அதிலே நீயானாலும், உன் குமாரனானாலும், உன் குமாரத்தியானாலும், உன் வேலைக்காரனானாலும், உன் வேலைக்காரியானாலும், உன் எருதானாலும், உன் கழுதையானாலும், உனக்கு இருக்கிற மற்றெந்த மிருகஜீவனானாலும், உன் வாசல்களில் இருக்கிற அந்நியனானாலும் யாதொரு வேலையும் செய்யவேண்டாம்; நீ இளைப்பாறுவதுபோல உன் வேலைக்காரனும் உன் வேலைக்காரியும் இளைப்பாறவேண்டும்; But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.

15 நீ எகிப்துதேசத்தில் அடிமையாயிருந்தாய் என்றும், உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன்னை அவ்விடத்திலிருந்து வல்லமையுள்ள கரத்தினாலும் ஓங்கிய புயத்தினாலும் புறப்படப்பண்ணினார் என்றும் நினைப்பாயாக; ஆகையால் ஓய்வுநாளை ஆசரிக்க உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டார். And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.

16 உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உனக்குக் கொடுக்கிற தேசத்திலே உன் நாட்கள் நீடித்திருப்பதற்கும், நீ நன்றாயிருப்பதற்கும், உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே, உன் தகப்பனையும் உன் தாயையும் கனம்பண்ணுவாயாக. Honor thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

17 கொலை செய்யாதிருப்பாயாக. Thou shalt not kill.

18 விபசாரஞ் செய்யாதிருப்பாயாக Neither shalt thou commit adultery.

19 களவு செய்யாதிருப்பாயாக Neither shalt thou steal.

20 பிறனுக்கு விரோதமாகப் பொய்ச்சாட்சி சொல்லாதிருப்பாயாக. Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbor.

21 பிறனுடைய மனைவியை இச்சியாதிருப்பாயாக; பிறனுடைய வீட்டையும், அவனுடைய நிலத்தையும், அவனுடைய வேலைக்காரனையும், அவனுடைய வேலைக்காரியையும், அவனுடைய எருதையும், அவனுடைய கழுதையையும், பின்னும் பிறனுக்குள்ள யாதொன்றையும் இச்சியாதிருப்பாயாக என்றார். Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbor's wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbor's house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any thing that is thy neighbor's.

1 Moses isravaelar ellaaraiyum alaippiththu, avarkalai Nnokki: isravaelarae, naan intu ungal kaathukal kaetkach sollum kattalaikalaiyum niyaayangalaiyum kaelungal; neengal avaikalinpatiyae seyyumpatikku avaikalaik kattaுk kaikkollakkadaveerkal. 2 Nammutaiya thaevanaakiya Karththar oraepilae nammotae udanpatikkaipannnninaar. The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.

3 Antha udanpatikkaiyaik Karththar nammutaiya pithaakkaludan pannnnaamal, innaalil ingae uyirotirukkira nammellaarodum pannnninaar. The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.

4 Karththar malaiyilae akkiniyin naduvilirunthu mukamukamaay ungalotae paesinaar. The LORD talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire,

5 Karththarutaiya vaarththaiyai ungalukku arivikkumpati, akkaalaththilae naan karththarukkum ungalukkum naduvaaka ninten; neengal akkinikkup payanthu malaiyil aeraamal iruntheerkal; appoluthu avar sonnathu ennavental: (I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to show you the word of the LORD: for ye were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying,

6 Unnai atimaiththana veedaakiya ekipthuthaesaththilirunthu purappadappannnnina un thaevanaakiya Karththar naanae. I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

7 Ennaiyanti unakku vaeraே thaevarkal unndaayirukkavaenndaam. Thou shalt have none other gods before me.

8 Maelae vaanaththilum, geelae poomiyilum, poomiyingeelth thannnneerilum unndaayirukkiravaikalukku oppaana oru suroopaththaiyaakilum yaathoru vikkirakaththaiyaakilum nee unakku unndaakkavaenndaam. Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:

9 Nee avaikalai namaskarikkavum sevikkavum vaenndaam; un thaevanaakiya karththaraayirukkira naan erichchalulla thaevanaayirunthu, ennaip pakaikkiravarkalaikkuriththup pithaakkalutaiya akkiramaththaip pillaikalidaththil moontam naankaam thalaimuraimattum visaarikkiravaraayirukkiraேn. Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,

10 Ennidaththil anpukoornthu, en karpanaikalaik kaikkollukiravarkalukko aayiram thalaimuraimattum irakkanjaெykiravaraayirukkiraேn. And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.

11 Un thaevanaakiya karththarutaiya naamaththai veennilae valangaathiruppaayaaka; Karththar thammutaiya naamaththai veennilae valangukiravanaith thanntiyaamal vidaar. Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

12 Un thaevanaakiya Karththar unakkuk kattalaiyittapatiyae, oyvunaalaip Parisuththamaay aasarippaayaaka. Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee.

13 Aaraுnaalum nee vaelaiseythu, un kiriyaikalaiyellaam nadappippaayaaka. Six days thou shalt labor, and do all thy work:

14 Aelaam naalo un thaevanaakiya karththarutaiya oyvunaal; athilae neeyaanaalum, un kumaaranaanaalum, un kumaaraththiyaanaalum, un vaelaikkaaranaanaalum, un vaelaikkaariyaanaalum, un eruthaanaalum, un kaluthaiyaanaalum, unakku irukkira mattentha mirukajeevanaanaalum, un vaasalkalil irukkira anniyanaanaalum yaathoru vaelaiyum seyyavaenndaam; nee ilaippaaraுvathupola un vaelaikkaaranum un vaelaikkaariyum ilaippaaravaenndum; But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.

15 Nee ekipthuthaesaththil atimaiyaayirunthaay entum, un thaevanaakiya Karththar unnai avvidaththilirunthu vallamaiyulla karaththinaalum ongiya puyaththinaalum purappadappannnninaar entum ninaippaayaaka; aakaiyaal oyvunaalai aasarikka un thaevanaakiya Karththar unakkuk kattalaiyittar. And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.

16 Un thaevanaakiya Karththar unakkuk kodukkira thaesaththilae un naatkal neetiththiruppatharkum, nee nantayiruppatharkum, un thaevanaakiya Karththar unakkuk kattalaiyittapatiyae, un thakappanaiyum un thaayaiyum kanampannnuvaayaaka. Honor thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

17 Kolai seyyaathiruppaayaaka. Thou shalt not kill.

18 Vipasaaranj seyyaathiruppaayaaka Neither shalt thou commit adultery.

19 Kalavu seyyaathiruppaayaaka Neither shalt thou steal.

20 Piranukku virothamaakap poychchaாtchi sollaathiruppaayaaka. Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbor.

21 Piranutaiya manaiviyai ichchiyaathiruppaayaaka; piranutaiya veettaைyum, avanutaiya nilaththaiyum, avanutaiya vaelaikkaaranaiyum, avanutaiya vaelaikkaariyaiyum, avanutaiya eruthaiyum, avanutaiya kaluthaiyaiyum, pinnum piranukkulla yaathontaiyum ichchiyaathiruppaayaaka entar. Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbor's wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbor's house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any thing that is thy neighbor's.
