ஆனாலும் செருபாபேலே, திடன்கொள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; யோத்சதாக்கின் குமாரனாகிய யோசுவா என்னும் பிரதான ஆசாரியனே நீ திடன்கொள்; தேசத்தின் எல்லா ஜனங்களே, நீங்கள் திடன்கொள்ளுங்கள், வேலையை நடத்துங்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; நான் உங்களுடனே இருக்கிறேன் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

ஆனால் இப்பொழுது, ‘செருபாபேலே, அதைரியப்பட வேண்டாம்!’ என்று கர்த்தர் கூறுகிறார். ‘தலைமை ஆசாரியனாகிய யோத்சதாக்கின் மகனாகிய யோசுவாவே, அதைரியப்பட வேண்டாம்! அனைத்து ஜனங்களே, மனம் தளர வேண்டாம். இந்த வேலையைத் தொடர்ந்து செய்யுங்கள். ஏனென்றால் நான் உங்களோடு இருக்கிறேன்.’ சர்வ வல்லமையுள்ள கர்த்தர் இவற்றைச் சொன்னார்.

ஆயினும் செருபாபேலே! மன உறுதியோடிரு,’ என்கிறார் ஆண்டவர். ‛தலைமைக் குருவும் யோசதாக்கின் மகனுமாகிய யோசுவாவே! மன உறுதியோடிரு; நாட்டிலுள்ள அனைத்து மக்களே, ஊக்கம் கொள்ளுங்கள்; பணியைத் தொடருங்கள்; ஏனெனில் நான் உங்களோடு இருக்கிறேன்’ என்கிறார் படைகளின் ஆண்டவர்.”

Aanaalum serupaapaelae, thidankol entu Karththar sollukiraar; yothsathaakkin kumaaranaakiya yosuvaa ennum pirathaana aasaariyanae nee thidankol; thaesaththin ellaa janangalae, neengal thidankollungal, vaelaiyai nadaththungal entu Karththar sollukiraar; naan ungaludanae irukkiraேn entu senaikalin Karththar sollukiraar.
