4 நோவா, சேம், காம், யாப்பேத், Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

5 யாப்பேத்தின் குமாரர், கோமேர், மாகோகு, மாதாய், யாவான், தூபால், மேசேக்கு, தீராஸ் என்பவர்கள். The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

14 எபூசியரையும், மோரியாயும், கிர்காசியரையும், The Jebusite also, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,

16 அர்வாதியரையும், செமரியரையும், காமாத்தியரையும் பெற்றான். And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.

17 சேமின் குமாரர், ஏலாம், அசூர், அர்பக்சாத், லுூத், ஆராம், ஊத்ஸ், கூல், கேத்தெர், மேசக் என்பவர்கள். The sons of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.

18 அர்பக்சாத் சாலாவைப் பெற்றான்; சாலா ஏபேரைப் பெற்றான். And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.

19 ஏபேருக்கு இரண்டு குமாரர் பிறந்தார்கள்; ஒருவன் பேர் பேலேகு, ஏனெனில் அவன் நாட்களில் பூமி பகுக்கப்பட்டது; அவன் சகோதரன் பேர் யொக்தான். And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother's name was Joktan.

22 ஓபாலையும், அபிமாவேலையும், சேபாவையும், And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

23 ஓப்பீரையும், ஆவிலாவையும், யோபாபையும் பெற்றான்; இவர்கள் எல்லாரும் யொக்தானின் குமாரர். And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.

24 சேம், அர்பக்சாத், சாலா, Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,

26 செரூகு, நாகோர், தேராகு, Serug, Nahor, Terah,

28 ஆபிரகாமின் குமாரர், ஈசாக்கு, இஸ்மவேல் என்பவர்கள். The sons of Abraham; Isaac, and Ishmael.

31 யெத்தூர், நாபீஸ், கேத்மா என்பவர்கள்; இவர்கள் இஸ்மவேலின் குமாரர். Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.

32 ஆபிரகாமின் மறுமனையாட்டியாகிய கேத்தூராள் பெற்ற குமாரர், சிம்ரான், யக்ஷான், மேதான், மீதியான், இஸ்பாக், சூவா என்பவர்கள்; யக்ஷானின் குமாரர், சேபா, தேதான் என்பவர்கள். Now the sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan; Sheba, and Dedan.

36 எலிப்பாசின் குமாரர், தேமான், ஓமார், செப்பி, கத்தாம், கேனாஸ், திம்னா, அமலேக்கு என்பவர்கள். The sons of Eliphaz; Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.

37 ரெகுவேலின் குமாரர், நகாத், சேராகு, சம்மா, மீசா என்பவர்கள். The sons of Reuel; Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.

38 சேயீரின் குமாரர், லோத்தான், சோபால், சிபியோன், ஆனா, தீசோன், எத்சேர், தீசான் என்பவர்கள். And the sons of Seir; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezar, and Dishan.

39 லோத்தானின் குமாரர், ஓரி, ஓமாம் என்பவர்கள்; லோத்தானின் சகோதரி திம்னாள் என்பவர்கள். And the sons of Lotan; Hori, and Homam: and Timna was Lotan's sister.

40 சோபாலின் குமாரர், அல்வான், மானகாத், ஏபால், செப்போ, ஓனாம் என்பவர்கள்; சிபியோனின் குமாரர், அயா, ஆனாகு என்பவர்கள். The sons of Shobal; Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. and the sons of Zibeon; Aiah, and Anah.

41 ஆனாகின் குமாரரில் ஒருவன் திஷோன் என்பவன்; திஷோனின் குமாரர், அம்ராம், எஸ்பான் இத்தரான், கெரான் என்பவர்கள். The sons of Anah; Dishon. And the sons of Dishon; Amram, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.

42 ஏத்சேரின் குமாரர், பில்கான், சகவான், யாக்கான் என்பவர்கள்; திஷானின் குமாரர், ஊத்ஸ், அரான் என்பவர்கள். The sons of Ezer; Bilhan, and Zavan, and Jakan. The sons of Dishan; Uz, and Aran.

43 இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரை ஒரு ராஜா ஆளாததற்கு முன்னே, ஏதோம் தேசத்தில் அரசாண்ட ராஜாக்களானவர்கள் பயோரின குமாரன் பேலா என்பவன்; இவன் பட்டணத்தின் பேர் தின்காபா. Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the children of Israel; Bela the son of Beor: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

44 பேலா மரித்தபின் போஸ்ரா ஊரானாகிய சேராகின் குமாரன் யோபாப் அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் ராஜாவானான். And when Bela was dead, Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

45 யோபாப் மரித்தபின், தேமானியரின் தேசத்தானாகிய ஊசாம் அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் ராஜாவானான். And when Jobab was dead, Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.

46 ஊசாம் மரித்தபின், பேதாதின் குமாரன் ஆதாத் அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் ராஜாவானான், இவன் மீதியானியரை மோவாபின் நாட்டிலே முறிய அடித்தவன்; இவன் பட்டணத்தின்பேர் ஆவீத். And when Husham was dead, Hadad the son of Bedad, which smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.

47 ஆதாத் மரித்தபின், மஸ்ரேக்கா ஊரானாகிய சம்லா அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் ராஜாவானான். And when Hadad was dead, Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.

48 சம்லா மரித்தபின், நதியோரமான ரேகோபோத்தானாகிய சவுல் அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் ராஜாவானான். And when Samlah was dead, Shaul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.

49 சவுல் மரித்தபின், அக்போரின் குமாரன் பாகாலானான் அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் ராஜாவானான். And when Shaul was dead, Baalhanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.

50 பாகாலானான் மரித்தபின், ஆதாத், அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் ராஜாவானான்; இவன் பட்டணத்தின்பேர் பாகி; மேசகாபின் குமாரத்தியாகிய மாத்திரேத்தின் குமாரனான அவன் மனைவியின் பேர் மெகேதபேல். And when Baalhanan was dead, Hadad reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.

51 ஆதாத் மரித்தபின், ஏதோமில் ஏற்பட்ட பிரபுக்களானவர்கள்; திம்னா பிரபு, அல்யா பிரபு, எதேத் பிரபு, Hadad died also. And the dukes of Edom were; duke Timnah, duke Aliah, duke Jetheth,

52 அகோலிபாமா பிரபு, ஏலா பிரபு, பினோன் பிரபு, Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,

53 கேனாஸ் பிரபு, தேமான் பிரபு, மிப்சார் பிரபு, Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,

54 மக்தியேல் பிரபு, ஈராம் பிரபு, இவர்களே ஏதோமின் பிரபுக்கள். Duke Magdiel, duke Iram. These are the dukes of Edom.

8 Kiththeem, thothaaneem enpavarkal. Kaamin kumaarar, koosh, misraayeem, pooth, kaanaan enpavarkal. The sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.

9 Kooshin kumaarar, sepaa, vilaa, sapthaa, raamaa, sapthikaa enpavarkal; raamaavin kumaarar, sepaa, thithaan enpavarkal. And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.

10 Koosh nimrothaip pettaாn; ivan poomiyilae paraakkiramasaaliyaanaan. And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be mighty upon the earth.

11 Misraayeem luூtheemiyaraiyum, aanaamiyaraiyum, lekaapiyaraiyum, napthookiyaraiyum, And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,

12 Pathroosiyaraiyum, pelistharaip petta kasluூkiyaraiyum, kapthoriyaraiyum pettaாn. And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (of whom came the Philistines,) and Caphthorim.

13 Kaanaan than mooththamakanaakiya seethonaiyum, kaeththaiyum, And Canaan begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth,

14 Epoosiyaraiyum, moriyaayum, kirkaasiyaraiyum, The Jebusite also, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,

19 Aepaerukku iranndu kumaarar piranthaarkal; oruvan paer paelaeku, aenenil avan naatkalil poomi pakukkappattathu; avan sakotharan paer yokthaan. And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother's name was Joktan.

20 Yokthaan almothaathaiyum, saalaeppaiyum, aasarmaavaeththaiyum, yaeraakaiyum, And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,

21 Athoraamaiyum, oosaalaiyum, thiklaavaiyum, Hadoram also, and Uzal, and Diklah,

22 Opaalaiyum, apimaavaelaiyum, sepaavaiyum, And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

32 Aapirakaamin maraுmanaiyaattiyaakiya kaeththooraal petta kumaarar, simraan, yakshaan, maethaan, meethiyaan, ispaak, soovaa enpavarkal; yakshaanin kumaarar, sepaa, thaethaan enpavarkal. 38 Seyeerin kumaarar, loththaan, sopaal, sipiyon, aanaa, theeson, ethser, theesaan enpavarkal. And the sons of Seir; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezar, and Dishan.

39 Loththaanin kumaarar, ori, omaam enpavarkal; loththaanin sakothari thimnaal enpavarkal. And the sons of Lotan; Hori, and Homam: and Timna was Lotan's sister.

40 Sopaalin kumaarar, alvaan, maanakaath, aepaal, seppo, onaam enpavarkal; sipiyonin kumaarar, ayaa, aanaaku enpavarkal. The sons of Shobal; Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. and the sons of Zibeon; Aiah, and Anah.

44 Paelaa mariththapin posraa ooraanaakiya seraakin kumaaran yopaap avan sthaanaththil raajaavaanaan. And when Bela was dead, Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
