1 பின்பு தாவீது இஸ்ரவேலர் எல்லாருக்குள்ளும் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட முப்பதினாயிரம்பேரைக் கூட்டி, Again, David gathered together all the chosen men of Israel, thirty thousand.

2 கேருபீன்களின் நடுவே வாசமாயிருக்கிற சேனைகளுடைய கர்த்தரின் நாமம் தொழுதுகொள்ளப்படுகிற தேவனுடைய பெட்டியைப் பாலையூதாவிலிருந்து கொண்டுவரும்படி, அவனும் அவனோடிருந்த அந்த ஸ்தலத்தாரும் எழுந்துபோய், And David arose, and went with all the people that were with him from Baale of Judah, to bring up from thence the ark of God, whose name is called by the name of the LORD of hosts that dwelleth between the cherubim.

And they set the ark of God upon a new cart, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab that was in Gibeah: and Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drave the new cart.

And David and all the house of Israel played before the LORD on all manner of instruments made of fir wood, even on harps, and on psalteries, and on timbrels, and on cornets, and on cymbals.

6 அவர்கள் நாகோனின் களம் இருக்கிற இடத்துக்கு வந்தபோது, மாடுகள் மிரண்டு பெட்டியை அசைத்தபடியினால், ஊசா தேவனுடைய பெட்டியினிடமாய்த் தன் கையை நீட்டி, அதைப் பிடித்தான். And when they came to Nachon's threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it.

7 அப்பொழுது கர்த்தருக்கு ஊசாவின்மேல் கோபமூண்டது; அவனுடைய துணிவினிமித்தம் தேவன் அங்கே அவனை அடித்தார்; அவன் அங்கே தேவனுடைய பெட்டியண்டையில் செத்தான். And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God.

8 அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் ஊசாவை அடித்ததினிமித்தம் தாவீது விசனப்பட்டு, அந்த ஸ்தலத்திற்கு இந்நாள்மட்டும் வழங்கிவருகிற பேரேஸ்ஊசா என்னும் பேரிட்டான். And David was displeased, because the LORD had made a breach upon Uzzah: and he called the name of the place Perezuzzah to this day.

9 தாவீது அன்றையதினம் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்து, கர்த்தருடைய பெட்டி என்னிடத்தில் வருவது எப்படியென்று சொல்லி, And David was afraid of the LORD that day, and said, How shall the ark of the LORD come to me?

10 அதைத் தன்னிடத்தில் தாவீதின் நகரத்தில் கொண்டுவர மனதில்லால், கித்தியனாகிய ஓபேத்ஏதோமின் வீட்டிலேகொண்டுபோய் வைத்தான். So David would not remove the ark of the LORD unto him into the city of David: but David carried it aside into the house of Obededom the Gittite.

11 கர்த்தருடைய பெட்டி கித்தியனாகிய ஓபேத்ஏதோமின் வீட்டிலே மூன்று மாதம் இருக்கையில் கர்த்தர் ஓபேத்ஏதோமையும் அவன் வீட்டார் அனைவரையும் ஆசீர்வதித்தார். And the ark of the LORD continued in the house of Obededom the Gittite three months: and the LORD blessed Obededom, and all his household.

12 தேவனுடைய பெட்டியினிமித்தம் கர்த்தர் ஓபேத்ஏதோமின் வீட்டையும், அவனுக்கு உண்டான எல்லாவற்றையும் ஆசீர்வதித்தார் என்று தாவீதுவுக்கு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது; அப்பொழுது தாவீது தேவனுடைய பெட்டியை ஓபேத்ஏதோமின் வீட்டிலிருந்து தாவீதின் நகரத்துக்கு மகிழ்ச்சியுடனே கொண்டுவந்தான். And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obededom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obededom into the city of David with gladness.

13 கர்த்தருடைய பெட்டியைச் சுமந்துபோகிறவர்கள் ஆறு தப்படி நடந்தபோது, மாடுகளையும் கொழுத்த ஆட்டுக்கடாக்களையும் பலியிட்டான். And it was so, that when they that bare the ark of the LORD had gone six paces, he sacrificed oxen and fatlings.

14 தாவீது சணல்நூல் ஏபோத்தைத் தரித்துக்கொண்டு, தன் முழுப் பலத்தோடும் கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாக நடனம்பண்ணினான். And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.

15 அப்படியே தாவீதும், இஸ்ரவேல் சந்ததியார் அனைவரும் கர்த்தருடைய பெட்டியை கெம்பீர சத்தத்தோடும் எக்காள தொனியோடும் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள். So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.

16 கர்த்தருடைய பெட்டி தாவீதின் நகரத்திற்குள் பிரவேசிக்கிறபோது, சவுலின் குமாரத்தியாகிய மீகாள் பலகணிவழியாய்ப் பார்த்து, தாவீதுராஜா கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாகக் குதித்து, நடனம்பண்ணுகிறதைக் கண்டு, தன் இருதயத்திலே அவனை அவமதித்தாள். And as the ark of the LORD came into the city of David, Michal Saul's daughter looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the LORD; and she despised him in her heart.

And they brought in the ark of the LORD, and set it in his place, in the midst of the tabernacle that David had pitched for it: and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD.

18 தாவீது சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளையும் சமாதானபலிகளையும் இட்டபின்பு, சேனைகளின் கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தினாலே ஜனங்களை ஆசீர்வதித்து, And as soon as David had made an end of offering burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD of hosts.

19 இஸ்ரவேலின் திரள்கூட்டமான ஸ்திரீ புருஷராகிய சகல ஜனங்களுக்கும், அவரவருக்கு ஒவ்வொரு அப்பத்தையும், ஒவ்வொரு இறைச்சித்துண்டையும், ஒவ்வொரு படி திராட்சரசத்தையும் பங்கிட்டான்; பிற்பாடு ஜனங்கள் எல்லாரும் அவரவர் தங்கள் வீட்டிற்குப் போய்விட்டார்கள். And he dealt among all the people, even among the whole multitude of Israel, as well to the women as men, to every one a cake of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine. So all the people departed every one to his house.

2 Kaerupeenkalin naduvae vaasamaayirukkira senaikalutaiya karththarin naamam tholuthukollappadukira thaevanutaiya pettiyaip paalaiyoothaavilirunthu konnduvarumpati, avanum avanotiruntha antha sthalaththaarum elunthupoy, And David arose, and went with all the people that were with him from Baale of Judah, to bring up from thence the ark of God, whose name is called by the name of the LORD of hosts that dwelleth between the cherubim.

3 Thaevanutaiya pettiyai oru puthuirathaththinmael aetti, athaik kipiyaavilirukkira apinathaapin veettilirunthukonnduvanthaarkal; apinathaapin kumaararaakiya oosaavum akiyovum anthap puthu irathaththai nadaththinaarkal. And they set the ark of God upon a new cart, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab that was in Gibeah: and Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drave the new cart.

4 Avarkal thaevanutaiya pettiyai aetti, athaik kipiyaavilirukkira apinathaapin veettilirunthu nadaththikkonndu varukirapothu, akiyo pettikku munnaalae nadanthaan. And they brought it out of the house of Abinadab which was at Gibeah, accompanying the ark of God: and Ahio went before the ark.

5 Davidm Israel santhathiyaar anaivarum thaevathaaru maraththaal pannnappatta sakalavitha geethavaaththiyangalodum, suramanndalam thampuru maelam veennai kaiththaalam aakiya ivaikalodum, karththarukku munpaaka aatippaatikkonnduponaarkal. And David and all the house of Israel played before the LORD on all manner of instruments made of fir wood, even on harps, and on psalteries, and on timbrels, and on cornets, and on cymbals.

6 Avarkal naakonin kalam irukkira idaththukku vanthapothu, maadukal miranndu pettiyai asaiththapatiyinaal, oosaa thaevanutaiya pettiyinidamaayth than kaiyai neetti, athaip pitiththaan. And when they came to Nachon's threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it.

7 Appoluthu karththarukku oosaavinmael kopamoonndathu; avanutaiya thunnivinimiththam Dhevan angae avanai atiththaar; avan angae thaevanutaiya pettiyanntaiyil seththaan. And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God.

8 Appoluthu Karththar oosaavai atiththathinimiththam David visanappattu, antha sthalaththirku innaalmattum valangivarukira paeraesoosaa ennum paerittan. And David was displeased, because the LORD had made a breach upon Uzzah: and he called the name of the place Perezuzzah to this day.

9 David antaiyathinam karththarukkup payanthu, karththarutaiya petti ennidaththil varuvathu eppatiyentu solli, And David was afraid of the LORD that day, and said, How shall the ark of the LORD come to me?

10 Athaith thannidaththil thaaveethin nakaraththil konnduvara manathillaal, kiththiyanaakiya opaethaethomin veettilaekonndupoy vaiththaan. So David would not remove the ark of the LORD unto him into the city of David: but David carried it aside into the house of Obededom the Gittite.

11 Karththarutaiya petti kiththiyanaakiya opaethaethomin veettilae moontu maatham irukkaiyil Karththar opaethaethomaiyum avan veettar anaivaraiyum aaseervathiththaar. And the ark of the LORD continued in the house of Obededom the Gittite three months: and the LORD blessed Obededom, and all his household.

12 Thaevanutaiya pettiyinimiththam Karththar opaethaethomin veettaைyum, avanukku unndaana ellaavattaைyum aaseervathiththaar entu Davidvukku arivikkappattathu; appoluthu David thaevanutaiya pettiyai opaethaethomin veettilirunthu thaaveethin nakaraththukku makilchchiyudanae konnduvanthaan. And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obededom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obededom into the city of David with gladness.

13 Karththarutaiya pettiyaich sumanthupokiravarkal aaraு thappati nadanthapothu, maadukalaiyum koluththa aattukkadaakkalaiyum paliyittan. And it was so, that when they that bare the ark of the LORD had gone six paces, he sacrificed oxen and fatlings.

14 David sanalnool aepoththaith thariththukkonndu, than mulup palaththodum karththarukku munpaaka nadanampannnninaan. And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.

15 Appatiyae Davidm, Israel santhathiyaar anaivarum karththarutaiya pettiyai kempeera saththaththodum ekkaala thoniyodum konnduvanthaarkal. So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.

16 Karththarutaiya petti thaaveethin nakaraththirkul piravaesikkirapothu, savulin kumaaraththiyaakiya meekaal palakannivaliyaayp paarththu, Davidraajaa karththarukku munpaakak kuthiththu, nadanampannnukirathaik kanndu, than iruthayaththilae avanai avamathiththaal. And as the ark of the LORD came into the city of David, Michal Saul's daughter looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the LORD; and she despised him in her heart.

17 Avarkal karththarutaiya pettiyai ullae konnduvanthu, atharkuth Davidpotta koodaaraththirkul irukkira athin sthaanaththilae athai vaiththapothu, David karththarutaiya sannithiyilae sarvaanga thakanapalikalaiyum samaathaanapalikalaiyum ittan. And they brought in the ark of the LORD, and set it in his place, in the midst of the tabernacle that David had pitched for it: and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD.

18 David sarvaanga thakanapalikalaiyum samaathaanapalikalaiyum ittapinpu, senaikalin karththarutaiya naamaththinaalae janangalai aaseervathiththu, And as soon as David had made an end of offering burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD of hosts.

19 Isravaelin thiralkoottamaana sthiree purusharaakiya sakala janangalukkum, avaravarukku ovvoru appaththaiyum, ovvoru iraichchiththunntaiyum, ovvoru pati thiraatcharasaththaiyum pangittan; pirpaadu janangal ellaarum avaravar thangal veettirkup poyvittarkal. And he dealt among all the people, even among the whole multitude of Israel, as well to the women as men, to every one a cake of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine. So all the people departed every one to his house.
