அவர்களுக்கு முன்னால் கேயாசி அப்பெண்ணின் வீட்டை அடைந்தான். அவன் கைத்தடியை பிள்ளையின் முகத்தில் வைத்தான். ஆனால் அந்தக் குழந்தை பேசவோ பேச்சுக்கு பதிலாக அசையவோ இல்லை. எனவே கேயாசி எலிசாவிடம் ஓடிவந்து, “குழந்தை இன்னும் எழுந்திருக்கவில்லை!” என்று கூறினான்.

Kaeyaasi avarkalukku munnae poy, anthath thatiyaip pillaiyin mukaththinmael vaiththaan; aanaalum saththamum illai, unarchchiyum illai; aakaiyaal avan thirumpi avanukku ethirkonnduvanthu: pillai vilikkavillai entu avanukku ariviththaan.
