என் தகப்பன் உங்கள் நுகத்தைப் பாரமாக்கினார், நான் உங்கள் நுகத்தை அதிக பாரமாக்குவேன்; என் தகப்பன் உங்களைச் சவுக்குகளினாலே தண்டித்தார், நான் உங்களைத் தேள்களினாலே தண்டிப்பேன் என்று ஜனங்களுக்குக் கடினமான உத்தரவு கொடுத்தான்.

என்னுடைய தகப்பன் உங்களுடைய சுமையைப் பாரமாக்கினார், நான் உங்களுடைய சுமையை அதிக பாரமாக்குவேன்; என்னுடைய தகப்பன் உங்களைச் சவுக்குகளினாலே தண்டித்தார், நான் உங்களைத் தேள்களினாலே தண்டிப்பேன் என்று மக்களுக்குக் கடினமான உத்திரவு கொடுத்தான்.

அவன் தன் இளைய நண்பர்கள் சொல்லச் சொன்னதையே சொன்னான். அவன் அவர்களிடம், “என் தந்தை கடின வேலை செய்யும்படி கட்டாயப்படுத்தினார். நான் அதைவிடவும் கடின வேலைகளைத் தருவேன். என் தந்தை உங்களைச் சவுக்கால் அடித்தார். நானோ தேள் கடியைப்போல வேதனையடையுமாறு அடிப்பேன்!” என்றான்.
