Psalm 107:43

எவன் ஞானமுள்ளவனோ அவன் இவைகளைக் கவனிக்கக்கடவன்; ஞானவான்கள் கர்த்தருடைய கிருபைகளை உணர்ந்துகொள்வார்கள்.

Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.

Proverbs 1:5

புத்திமான் இவைகளைக் கேட்டு, அறிவில் தேறுவான்; விவேகி நல்லாலோசனைகளை அடைந்து;

A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:

Proverbs 1:6

நீதிமொழியையும், அதின் அர்த்தத்தையும், ஞானிகளின் வாக்கியங்களையும், அவர்கள் உரைத்த புதைபொருள்களையும் அறிந்துகொள்வான்.

To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.

Proverbs 3:13

ஞானத்தைக் கண்டடைகிற மனுஷனும், புத்தியைச் சம்பாதிக்கிற மனுஷனும் பாக்கியவான்கள்.

Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

Proverbs 3:18

அது தன்னை அடைந்தவர்கள`Ε்கு ஜீவவிருட்Κம், அதைப் பற்Ѡοக்கொள்ளுகிற எவனும் பாக்கியவான்.

She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.

Proverbs 3:35

ஞானவான்கள் கனத்தைச் சுதந்தரிப்பார்கள்; மதிகேடரோ கனவீனத்தை அடைவார்கள்.

The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools.

Proverbs 4:6

அதை விடாதே, அது உன்னைத் தற்காக்கும்: அதின்மேல் பிரியமாயிரு, அது உன்னைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளும்.

Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee.

Proverbs 4:8

நீ அதை மேன்மைப்படுத்து, அது உன்னை மேன்மைப்படுத்தும்; நீ அதைத் தழுவிக்கொண்டால், அது உன்னைக் கனம்பண்ணும்.

Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her.

Proverbs 4:9

அது உன் தலைக்கு அலங்காரமான முடியைக் கொடுக்கும்; அது மகிமையான கிரீடத்தை உனக்குச் சூட்டும்.

She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.

Proverbs 8:35

என்னைக் கண்டடைகிறவன் ஜீவனைக் கண்டடைகிறான்; கர்த்தரிடத்தில் தயவையும் பெறுவான்.

For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.

Proverbs 9:12

நீ ஞானியானால் உனக்கென்று ஞானியாவாய்; நீ பரியாசக்காரனானால் நீயே அதின் பயனை அநுபவிப்பாய் என்றும் சொல்லுகிறது.

If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.

Proverbs 10:17

புத்திமதிகளைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளுகிறவன் ஜீவவழியில் இருக்கிறான்; கண்டனையை (கண்டிப்பை) வெறுக்கிறவனோ மோசம்போகிறான்.

He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.

Proverbs 11:29

தன் வீட்டைக் கலைக்கிறவன் காற்றைச் சுதந்தரிப்பான்; மூடன் ஞானமுள்ளவனுக்கு அடிமையாவான்.

He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind: and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart.

Proverbs 12:8

தன் புத்திக்குக்தக்கதாக மனுஷன் புகழப்படுவான்; மாறுபாடான இருதயமுள்ளவனோ இகழப்படுவான்.

A man shall be commended according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised.

Proverbs 13:15

நற்புத்தி தயையை உண்டாக்கும்; துரோகிகளுடைய வழியோ கரடுமுரடானது.

Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard.

Proverbs 15:24

கீழான பாதாளத்தை விட்டு விலகும்படி, விவேகிக்கு ஜீவவழியானது உன்னதத்தை நோக்கும் வழியாம்.

The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.

Proverbs 16:20

விவேகத்துடன் காரியத்தை நடப்பிக்கிறவன் நன்மைபெறுவான்; கர்த்தரை நம்புகிறவன் பாக்கியவான்.

He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he.

Proverbs 16:22

புத்தி தன்னை உடையவர்களுக்கு ஜீவஊற்று; மதியீனரின் போதனை மதியீனமே.

Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly.

Proverbs 19:8

ஞானத்தைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறவன் தன் ஆத்துமாவைச் சிநேகிக்கிறான்; புத்தியைக் காக்கிறவன் நன்மையடைவான்.

He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good.

Proverbs 21:20

வேண்டிய திரவியமும் எண்ணெயும் ஞானவானுடைய வாசஸ்தலத்தில் உண்டு; மூடனோ அதைச் செலவழித்துப்போடுகிறான்.

There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up.

Proverbs 24:3

வீடு ஞானத்தினாலே கட்டப்பட்டு, விவேகத்தினாலே நிலைநிறுத்தப்படும்.

Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established:

Proverbs 24:5

ஞானமுள்ளவன் பெலமுள்ளவன்; அறிவுள்ளவன் தன் வல்லமையை அதிகரிக்கப்பண்ணுகிறான்.

A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.

Proverbs 24:13

என் மՠΩே, தேனைச் சாப்பிΟு, அது நல்லது; கூட͠Οிலிருந்து ஒழுகும் தேன் உன் வாய்க்கு இன்பமாயிருக்கும்.

My son, eat thou honey, because it is good; and the honeycomb, which is sweet to thy taste:

Proverbs 24:14

அப்படியே ஞானத்தை அறிந்துகொள்வது உன் ஆத்துமாவுக்கு இன்பமாயிருக்கும்; அதைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டால், அது முடிவில் உதவும், உன் நம்பிக்கை வீண்போகாது.

So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.

Proverbs 28:26

தன் இருதயத்தை நம்புகிறவன் மூடன்; ஞானமாய் நடக்கிறவனோ இரட்சிக்கப்படுவான்.

He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.

Ecclesiastes 7:12

ஞானம் கேடகம், திரவியமும் கேடகம்; ஞானம் தன்னை உடையவர்களுக்கு ஜீவனைத் தரும்; இதுவே அறிவின் மேன்மை.

For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.

Ecclesiastes 8:1

ஞானமுள்ளவனுக்கு ஒப்பானவன் யார்? காரியத்தின் தாற்பரியத்தை அறிந்தவன் யார்? மனுஷனுடைய ஞானம் அவன் முகத்தைப் பிரகாசிக்கப்பண்ணும், அவன் முகத்தின் மூர்க்கம் மாறும்.

Who is as the wise man? and who knoweth the interpretation of a thing? a man's wisdom maketh his face to shine, and the boldness of his face shall be changed.

Ecclesiastes 10:10

இருப்பு ஆயுதம் மழுங்கலாயிருக்க, அதை ஒருவன் தீட்டாமற்போனால், அதிகபலத்தைப் பிரயோகம்பண்ணவேண்டியதாகும்; ஆகையால் ஒரு காரியத்தைச் செவ்வையாய்ச் செய்வதற்கு ஞானமே பிரதானம்.

If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.

Daniel 2:21

அவர் காலங்களையும் சமயங்களையும் மாற்றுகிறவர்; ராஜாக்களைத் தள்ளி, ராஜாக்களை ஏற்படுத்துகிறவர்; ஞானிகளுக்கு ஞானத்தையும், அறிவாளிகளுக்கு அறிவையும் கொடுக்கிறவர்.

And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:

Daniel 12:3

ஞானவான்கள் ஆகாயமண்டலத்தின் ஒளியைப்போலவும், அநேகரை நீதிக்குட்படுத்துகிறவர்கள் நட்சத்திரங்களைப்போலவும் என்றென்றைக்குமுள்ள சதாகாலங்களிலும் பிரகாசிப்பார்கள்.

And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Daniel 12:10

அநேகர் சுத்தமும் வெண்மையுமாக்கப்பட்டு புடமிடப்பட்டவர்களாய் விளங்குவார்கள். துன்மார்க்கரோ துன்மார்க்கமாய் நடப்பார்கள்; துன்மார்க்கரில் ஒருவனும் உணரான். ஞானவான்களோ உணர்ந்துகொள்ளுவார்கள்.

Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

Hosea 14:9

இவைகளை உணரத்தக்க ஞானமுள்ளவன் யார்? இவைகளைக் கிரகிக்கத்தக்க புத்தியுள்ளவன் யார்? கர்த்தருடைய வழிகள் செம்மையானவைகள், நீதிமான்கள் அவைகளில் நடப்பார்கள்; பாதகரோவென்றால் அவைகளில் இடறிவிழுவார்கள்.

Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
