யோவான் 9:41
இயேசு அவர்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் குருடராயிருந்தால் உங்களுக்குப் பாவமிராது; நீங்கள் காண்கிறோம் என்று சொல்லுகிறபடியினால் உங்கள் பாவம் நிலைநிற்கிறது என்றார்.

இயேசு அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: நீங்கள் குருடராக இருந்தால் உங்களுக்குப் பாவம் இருக்காது; நீங்கள் பார்க்கிறோம் என்று சொல்லுகிறபடியினால் உங்களுடைய பாவம் நிலைநிற்கிறது என்றார்.

இயேசு அவர்களுக்கு, “நீங்கள் உண்மையிலேயே குருடராயிருந்தால் நீங்கள் பாவம் செய்த குற்றவாளிகள் அல்ல. ஆனால் உங்களுக்குப் பார்வை உண்டு என நீங்கள் சொல்வதால், நீங்கள் குற்றவாளிகளே” என்றார்.
