அந்த ஒளியின் மகிமையினாலே நான் பார்வையற்றுப்போனபடியினால், என்னோடிருந்தவர்களால் கைலாகு கொடுத்து வழிநடத்தப்பட்டுத் தமஸ்குவுக்கு வந்தேன்.

குருடரை அவர்கள் அறியாத வழியிலே நடத்தி, அவர்களுக்குத் தெரியாத பாதைகளில் அவர்களை அழைத்துக்கொண்டுவந்து, அவர்களுக்கு முன்பாக இருளை வெளிச்சமும், கோணலைச் செவ்வையுமாக்குவேன்; இந்தக் காரியங்களை நான் அவர்களுக்குச் செய்து, அவர்களைக் கைவிடாதிப்பேன்.

சவுல் தரையிலிருந்தெழுந்து, தன் கண்களைத் திறந்தபோது ஒருவரையுங் காணவில்லை. அப்பொழுது கைலாகு கொடுத்து, அவனைத் தமஸ்குவுக்குக் கூட்டிக்கொண்டுபோனார்கள்
