The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD's: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

the heavens,	שָׁ֭מַיִם	šāmayim	sha-ma-YEEM
the Lord's:	לַיהוָ֑ה	yĕhōwâ	yeh-hoh-VA
but the earth	וְ֝הָאָ֗רֶץ	ʾereṣ	eh-RETS
hath he given	נָתַ֥ן	nātan	na-TAHN
to the children	לִבְנֵי	bēn	bane
of men.	אָדָֽם׃	ʾādām	ah-DAHM
