தேவாலயத்துக்கு இருக்கிற அரணின் கதவு வேலைக்கும், நகர அலங்கத்தின் வேலைக்கும், நான் தங்கப்போகிற வீட்டின் வேலைக்கும் வேண்டிய மரங்களை ராஜாவின் வனத்துக் காவலாளனாகிய ஆசாப் எனக்குக் கொடுக்கும்படிக்கும், அவனுக்கும் ஒரு கடிதம் கட்டளையிடப்படுவதாக என்றேன்; என் தேவனுடைய தயவுள்ள கரம் என்மேல் இருந்தபடியால், ராஜா அவைகளை எனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டார்.

வாசல்கள், சுவர்கள், ஆலயத்தைச் சுற்றியுள்ள சுவர்கள் மற்றும் எனது வீடு ஆகியவற்றிற்குத் தேவையான மரத்தடிகள் எனக்குத் தேவைப்படுகின்றது. எனவே உம்மிடமிருந்து ஆசாப்பிற்கு ஒரு கடிதம் எனக்குத் தேவை. உமது காடுகளுக்கு ஆசாப் பொறுப்பு அதிகாரி” என்றேன். அரசன் எனக்குக் கடிதங்களைக் கொடுத்தான். நான் கேட்டவற்றையெல்லாம் கூட கொடுத்தான். ஏனென்றால் தேவன் என்னிடம் கருணையோடு இருந்ததால், அரசன் இவற்றைச் செய்தான்.

Thaevaalayaththukku irukkira arannin kathavu vaelaikkum, nakara alangaththin vaelaikkum, naan thangappokira veettin vaelaikkum vaenntiya marangalai raajaavin vanaththuk kaavalaalanaakiya aasaap enakkuk kodukkumpatikkum, avanukkum oru katitham kattalaiyidappaduvathaaka enten; en thaevanutaiya thayavulla karam enmael irunthapatiyaal, raajaa avaikalai enakkuk kattalaiyittar.
