நாங்கள் எங்கள் பிசைந்தமாவில் முதற்பாகத்தையும் எங்கள் படைப்புகளையும், சகல மரங்களின் முந்தின பலனாகிய திராட்சப்பழரசத்தையும் எண்ணெயையும், எங்கள் தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தின் அறைகளில் வைக்கும்படி ஆசாரியரிடத்துக்கும், எங்கள் நிலப்பயிர்களில் தசமபாகம் லேவியரிடத்திற்கும் கொண்டுவரவும், லேவியராகிய இவர்கள் எங்கள் வெள்ளாண்மையின் பட்டணங்களிலெல்லாம் தசமபாகம் சேர்க்கவும்,

“நாங்கள் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தில் உள்ள சேமிப்பு அறைகளுக்கு ஆசாரியர்களிடம் இவற்றைக் கொண்டு வருவோம்: எங்கள் பிசைந்த மாவில் முதல் பாகத்தையும், எங்களது முதல் தானியக் காணிக்கைகளையும், எங்களது அனைத்து மரங்களிலிருந்து முதல் பழங்களையும், புதிய திராட்சைரசம் மற்றும் எண்ணெயின் முதல் பாகத்தையும் கொண்டு வருவோம். அதோடு எங்கள் விளைச்சலில் பத்தில் ஒரு பாகத்தை லேவியர்களுக்குக் கொண்டு வருவோம். ஏனென்றால் நாம் வேலைச் செய்கிற எல்லா பட்டணங்களிலும் லேவியர்கள் அவற்றைச் சேகரித்தனர்.
