என்னுடைய வீடு எல்லா ஜனங்களுக்கும் ஜெபவீடு என்னப்படும் என்று எழுதியிருக்கவில்லையா? நீங்களோ அதைக் கள்ளர் குகையாக்கினீர்கள் என்று அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லி உபதேசித்தார்.

பிறகு இயேசு மக்களுக்குப் போதனை செய்ய ஆரம்பித்தார். “‘எனது வீடு எல்லா மக்களின் பிரார்த்தனைக்கான வீடு என அழைக்கப்படும்’ என்று எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. ஆனால் நீங்கள் தேவனின் வீட்டைத் ‘திருடர்கள் ஒளியும் இடமாக’ மாற்றுகிறீர்கள்” என்றார்.
