அப்பொழுது கிதியோன், அவர் கர்த்தருடைய தூதன் என்று கண்டு: ஐயோ, கர்த்தரான ஆண்டவரே, நான் கர்த்தருடைய தூதனை முகமுகமாய்க் கண்டேனே என்றான்.

அப்பொழுது கிதியோன், அவர் கர்த்தருடைய தூதன் என்று அறிந்து: ஐயோ, கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரே, நான் கர்த்தருடைய தூதனை முகமுகமாக பார்த்தேனே என்றான்.

அப்போது கிதியோன் தான் கர்த்தருடைய தூதனோடு பேசிக்கொண்டிருந்ததை உணர்ந்தான். எனவே கிதியோன், “சர்வ வல்லமையுள்ள கர்த்தாவே! நான் கர்த்தருடைய தூதனை நேருக்கு நேராகச் சந்தித்தேன்!” என்று சத்தமிட்டான்.
