நீங்கள் கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டிக்கு முன்பாக யோர்தானின் தண்ணீர் பிரிந்துபோனதினால் அவைகள் வைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது; யோர்தானைக் கடந்துபோகிறபோது, யோர்தானின் தண்ணீர் பிரிந்துபோயிற்று; ஆகையால் இந்தக் கற்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்கு என்றைக்கும் நினைப்பூட்டும் அடையாளம் என்று சொல்லுங்கள் என்றான்.

யோர்தான் நதியின் தண்ணீரைக் கர்த்தர் ஓடாமல் நிறுத்தியதை அவர்களுக்குக் கூறுவீர்கள். கர்த்தருடைய பரிசுத்த உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டி நதியைக் கடந்தபோது, தண்ணீர் அசையாமல் நின்றது. இந்நிகழ்ச்சியை என்றென்றைக்கும் இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்கள் நினைவுகூருவதற்கு இக்கற்கள் உதவும்” என்றார்.

அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் அவர்களுக்கு இவ்வாறு சொல்லுங்கள்: ‘யோர்தான் நீர் ஆண்டவரது உடன்படிக்கைப் பேழையின்முன் பிரிந்து நின்றது. அப்பேழை யோர்தானைக் கடக்கும்பொழுது யோர்தானின் தண்ணீர் பிரிந்து நின்றது. இக்கற்கள் இஸ்ரயேல் மக்களுக்கு என்றும் இந்நிகழ்ச்சியை நினைவூட்டுவதற்காக உள்ளன’ என்று சொல்லுங்கள்” என்றார்.⒫
