ஆகிலும் குற்றமில்லாதிருக்கிறேன் என்றும், அவருடைய கோபம் என்னைவிட்டுத் திரும்பிற்று என்றும் சொல்லுகிறாய்; இதோ, நான் பாவஞ்செய்யவில்லையென்று நீ சொல்லுகிறதினிமித்தம் நான் என்னோடே வழக்காடுவேன்.

ஆகிலும்: குற்றமில்லாதிருக்கிறேன் என்றும், அவருடைய கோபம் என்னைவிட்டு நீங்கிவிட்டது என்றும் சொல்லுகிறாய்; இதோ, நான் பாவஞ்செய்யவில்லையென்று நீ சொல்லுகிறதினால் நான் உன்னுடன் வழக்காடுவேன்.

ஆனால் இன்றும் நீ, ‘நான் அப்பாவி. தேவனுக்கு என்மீது கோபமில்லை’ என்று சொல்லுகிறாய். எனவே நானும் உன்னைப் ‘பொய்யன்’ எனக் குற்றம்சாட்டுவேன். ஏனென்றால் நீ, ‘நான் எவ்விதத் தப்பும் செய்யவில்லை’ என்று சொல்லுகிறாய்.

his anger אַפּ֖וֹ ʾap af

me. Behold, הִנְנִי֙ hēn hane
I will plead with נִשְׁפָּ֣ט šāpaṭ sha-FAHT
אוֹתָ֔ךְ ʾēt ate
thee, because עַל ʿal al
thou sayest, אָמְרֵ֖ךְ ʾāmar ah-MAHR
