இன்றையதினம் இருக்கிறபடி, பாலும் தேனும் ஓடுகிற தேசத்தை உங்கள் பிதாக்களுக்குக் கொடுப்பேனென்று நான் அவர்களுக்கு இட்ட ஆணையை நான் திடப்படுத்தும்படி இப்படி ஆகும் என்றார்; அதற்கு நான் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: அப்படியே ஆகக்கடவது கர்த்தாவே என்றேன்.

Intaiyathinam irukkirapati, paalum thaenum odukira thaesaththai ungal pithaakkalukkuk koduppaenentu naan avarkalukku itta aannaiyai naan thidappaduththumpati ippati aakum entar; atharku naan pirathiyuththaramaaka: appatiyae aakakkadavathu karththaavae enten.

I have sworn נִשְׁבַּ֣עְתִּי šābaʿ sha-VA
unto your fathers, לַאֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֗ם ʾāb av
to give לָתֵ֤ת nātan na-TAHN
לָהֶם֙ hēm hame
them a land אֶ֣רֶץ ʾereṣ eh-RETS
flowing זָבַ֥ת zûb zoov
with milk חָלָ֛ב ḥālāb ha-LAHV
and honey, וּדְבַ֖שׁ dĕbaš deh-VAHSH
