இவர்கள் அவனை நோக்கி: இந்தநாள் நெருக்கமும், கண்டிதமும், தூஷணமும் அநுபவிக்கிற நாள்; பிள்ளைப்பேறு நோக்கியிருக்கிறது; பெறவோ பெலன் இல்லை.

அவர்கள் ஏசாயாவிடம், “அரசன் எசேக்கியா, இன்று துக்கத்திற்கும் துயரத்திற்குமான விசேஷ நாள் என்று கட்டளையிட்டிருக்கிறார். இன்று மிக துக்கமான நாளாக இருக்கும். இது குழந்தையைப் பெற்றெடுக்கவேண்டிய நாளைப் போன்ற ஒரு நாளாக இருக்கும். ஆனால் குழந்தை பெறவோ போதிய பெலன் தாய்க்கில்லை.

unto אֵלָ֗יו ʾēl ale
him, Thus כֹּ֚ה kō koh
saith אָמַ֣ר ʾāmar ah-MAHR
Hezekiah, חִזְקִיָּ֔הוּ ḥizqiyyâ heez-kee-YA
day יוֹם yôm yome
of trouble, צָרָ֧ה ṣārâ tsa-RA
and of rebuke, וְתוֹכֵחָ֛ה tôkēḥâ toh-hay-HA
and of blasphemy: וּנְאָצָ֖ה nĕʾāṣâ neh-ah-TSA
a day הַיּ֣וֹם yôm yome
This הַזֶּ֑ה ze zeh
for כִּ֣י kî kee
are come בָ֤אוּ bôʾ boh
the children בָנִים֙ bēn bane
to עַד ʿad ad
