ஒடுங்குண்ட கன்னியாகிய சீதோன் குமாரத்தியே, இனிக் களிகூர்ந்துகொண்டிராய், எழுந்து கித்தீமுக்குப் புறப்பட்டுப்போ, அங்கும் உனக்கு இளைப்பாறுதல் இல்லையென்றார்.

கர்த்தர் கூறுகிறார், “கன்னியாகிய சீதோனின் மகளே, நீ அழிக்கப்படுவாய். நீ இனிமேல் மகிழ்ச்சி அடையமாட்டாய். ஆனால் தீரு ஜனங்கள் கூறுகிறார்கள், நமக்கு சைப்ரஸ் உதவும்! ஆனால் நீ கடலைக் கடந்து சைப்ரசுக்குச் சென்றால் நீ ஓய்வெடுக்க ஒரு இடத்தைக் கண்டு கொள்ளமாட்டாய்.”
