Isaiah 17 in Tamil

1 தமஸ்குவின் பாரம். இதோ, தமஸ்குவானது நகரமாயிராமல் தள்ளப்பட்டு, பாழான மண்மேடாகும். The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.

2 ஆரோவேரின் பட்டணங்கள் பாழாய் விடப்பட்டு, மந்தைகளின் வெளியாயிருக்கும்; மிரட்டுவாரில்லாமல் அவைகள் அங்கே படுத்துக்கொள்ளும். The cities of Aroer are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid.

3 அரண் எப்பிராயீமையும், ராஜாங்கம் தமஸ்குவையும் விட்டொழியும்; இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருடைய மகிமைக்குநேரிட்டதுபோல சீரியாவில் மீதியாயிருப்பவர்களுக்கும் நேரிடும் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the LORD of hosts.

4 அக்காலத்திலே யாக்கோபின் மகிமை குறைந்துபோம், அவனுடைய கொழுத்த தேகம் மெலிந்துபோம். And in that day it shall come to pass, that the glory of Jacob shall be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh shall wax lean.

5 ஒருவன் ஓங்கின பயிரை அரிந்து, தன் கையினால் கதிர்களை அறுத்து, ரெப்பாயீம் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலே கதிர்களைச் சேர்க்கிறதுபோலிருக்கும். And it shall be as when the harvestman gathereth the corn, and reapeth the ears with his arm; and it shall be as he that gathereth ears in the valley of Rephaim.

6 ஆனாலும் ஒலிவமரத்தை உலுக்கும்போது நுனிக்கொம்பிலே இரண்டுமூன்று காய்களும் காய்க்கிற அதின் கிளைகளிலே நாலைந்து காய்களும் மீதியாயிருப்பதுபோல, அதிலே பின்பறிப்புக்குக் கொஞ்சம் மீதியாயிருக்குமென்று இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். Yet gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the shaking of an olive tree, two or three berries in the top of the uppermost bough, four or five in the outmost fruitful branches thereof, saith the LORD God of Israel.

7 அக்காலத்திலே மனுஷன் தன் கைகளின் கிரியையாகிய பீடங்களை நோக்காமலும், தன் விரல்கள் உண்டுபண்ணின தோப்புவிக்கிரகங்களையும், சிலைகளையும் நோக்காமலும், At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel.

8 தன்னை உண்டாக்கினவரையே நோக்குவான், அவன் கண்கள் இஸ்ரவேலின் பரிசுத்தரையே நோக்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கும். And he shall not look to the altars, the work of his hands, neither shall respect that which his fingers have made, either the groves, or the images.

9 அக்காலத்திலே அவர்களுடைய அரணான பட்டணங்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்கு மீதியாய் வைக்கப்பட்ட தழையைப்போலவும், நுனிக்கொம்பைப்போலவுமாகி, பாழாய்க் கிடக்கும். In that day shall his strong cities be as a forsaken bough, and an uppermost branch, which they left because of the children of Israel: and there shall be desolation.

10 உன் பெலமாகிய கன்மலையை நீ நினையாமல் உன் இரட்சிப்பாகிய தேவனை மறந்தாய்; ஆதலால் நீ நேர்த்தியான நாற்றுகளை நட்டாலும், அந்நிய தேசத்துக் கன்றுகளை வைத்தாலும், Because thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength, therefore shalt thou plant pleasant plants, and shalt set it with strange slips:

11 பகற்காலத்திலே உன் நாற்றை வளரவும் விடியற்காலத்திலே உன் விதையை முளைக்கவும் பண்ணினாலும், பலனைச் சேர்க்கும் நாளிலே துக்கமும் கடும்வேதனையுமே உங்கள் அறுப்பாயிருக்கும். In the day shalt thou make thy plant to grow, and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to flourish: but the harvest shall be a heap in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow.

12 ஐயோ! கடல்கள் கொந்தளிக்கிறதுபோல கொந்தளிக்கிற அநேக ஜனங்களின் திரளும், பலத்த தண்ணீர்கள் இரைகிறதுபோல இரைகிற ஜனக்கூட்டங்களின் அமளியும் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது. Woe to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters!

13 ஜனக்கூட்டங்கள் திரளான தண்ணீர்கள் இரைகிறதுபோல இரைந்தாலும், அவர்களை அவர் அதட்டுவார்; அவர்கள் தூரமாய் ஓடிப்போவார்கள்; மலைகளிலே காற்றினால் பறக்கடிக்கிற பதரைப்போலவும், சுழல்காற்றிலே அகப்பட்ட துரும்பைப்போலவும் துரத்தப்படுவார்கள். The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.

14 இதோ, சாயங்காலத்திலே கலக்கமுண்டாகும், விடியற்காலத்துக்குமுன் அவர்கள் ஒழிந்துபோவார்கள்; இதுவே நம்மைக் கொள்ளையாடுகிறவர்களின் பங்கும், நம்மைச் சூறையாடுகிறவர்களின் வீதமுமாயிருக்கும். And behold at eveningtide trouble; and before the morning he is not. This is the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us.

1 Thamaskuvin paaram. Itho, thamaskuvaanathu nakaramaayiraamal thallappattu, paalaana mannmaedaakum. The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.

2 Aarovaerin pattanangal paalaay vidappattu, manthaikalin veliyaayirukkum; mirattuvaarillaamal avaikal angae paduththukkollum. The cities of Aroer are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid.

3 Arann eppiraayeemaiyum, raajaangam thamaskuvaiyum vittaொliyum; Israel puththirarutaiya makimaikkunaerittathupola seeriyaavil meethiyaayiruppavarkalukkum naeridum entu senaikalin Karththar sollukiraar. The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the LORD of hosts.

4 Akkaalaththilae yaakkopin makimai kurainthupom, avanutaiya koluththa thaekam melinthupom. And in that day it shall come to pass, that the glory of Jacob shall be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh shall wax lean.

5 Oruvan ongina payirai arinthu, than kaiyinaal kathirkalai araுththu, reppaayeem pallaththaakkilae kathirkalaich serkkirathupolirukkum. And it shall be as when the harvestman gathereth the corn, and reapeth the ears with his arm; and it shall be as he that gathereth ears in the valley of Rephaim.

6 Aanaalum olivamaraththai ulukkumpothu nunikkompilae iranndumoontu kaaykalum kaaykkira athin kilaikalilae naalainthu kaaykalum meethiyaayiruppathupola, athilae pinparippukkuk konjam meethiyaayirukkumentu isravaelin thaevanaakiya Karththar sollukiraar. Yet gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the shaking of an olive tree, two or three berries in the top of the uppermost bough, four or five in the outmost fruitful branches thereof, saith the LORD God of Israel.

7 Akkaalaththilae manushan than kaikalin kiriyaiyaakiya peedangalai Nnokkaamalum, than viralkal unndupannnnina thoppuvikkirakangalaiyum, silaikalaiyum Nnokkaamalum, At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel.

8 Thannai unndaakkinavaraiyae Nnokkuvaan, avan kannkal isravaelin Parisuththaraiyae Nnokkikkonntirukkum. And he shall not look to the altars, the work of his hands, neither shall respect that which his fingers have made, either the groves, or the images.

9 Akkaalaththilae avarkalutaiya arannaana pattanangal Israel puththirarukku meethiyaay vaikkappatta thalaiyaippolavum, nunikkompaippolavumaaki, paalaayk kidakkum. In that day shall his strong cities be as a forsaken bough, and an uppermost branch, which they left because of the children of Israel: and there shall be desolation.

10 Un pelamaakiya kanmalaiyai nee ninaiyaamal un iratchippaakiya thaevanai maranthaay; aathalaal nee naerththiyaana naattaுkalai nattalum, anniya thaesaththuk kantukalai vaiththaalum, Because thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength, therefore shalt thou plant pleasant plants, and shalt set it with strange slips:

11 Pakarkaalaththilae un naattaை valaravum vitiyarkaalaththilae un vithaiyai mulaikkavum pannnninaalum, palanaich serkkum naalilae thukkamum kadumvaethanaiyumae ungal araுppaayirukkum. In the day shalt thou make thy plant to grow, and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to flourish: but the harvest shall be a heap in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow.

12 Aiyo! Kadalkal konthalikkirathupola konthalikkira anaeka janangalin thiralum, palaththa thannnneerkal iraikirathupola iraikira janakkoottangalin amaliyum unndaayirukkirathu. Woe to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters!

13 Janakkoottangal thiralaana thannnneerkal iraikirathupola irainthaalum, avarkalai avar athattuvaar; avarkal thooramaay otippovaarkal; malaikalilae kaattinaal parakkatikkira patharaippolavum, sulalkaattilae akappatta thurumpaippolavum thuraththappaduvaarkal. The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.

14 Itho, saayangaalaththilae kalakkamunndaakum, vitiyarkaalaththukkumun avarkal olinthupovaarkal; ithuvae nammaik kollaiyaadukiravarkalin pangum, nammaich sooraiyaadukiravarkalin veethamumaayirukkum. And behold at eveningtide trouble; and before the morning he is not. This is the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us.
